"As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests."

Super fast, friendly service! My son and I were passing through Lapeer a couple days ago, we saw Checkers and decided it was time for lunch! I cannot believe how quickly they get people through the line and that food was hot and fresh! We're not from anywhere near here, so no idea if we'll ever eat there again, but they definitely deserved a good review for their service. This was after the Christmas 22 blizzard too and the place was well staffed and those folks were hustling in that kitchen.
Great service, and fast. I have never had an incorrect order at this establishment. The fries are always hot and crispy, the burgers are great and reasonably priced with 4 and 5 dollar deals available. The food is a bit heavy on the stomach but if you are eating here you already know what you signed up for :
***Photo is to show example of chicken tenders and quality. Employees are friendly. Very disappointed in the food now. Mushroom swiss burger are extremely small and the 3 piece chicken tender meal...what a joke. 2 pieces were like they broke one in half and the 1 piece was maybe 4 inches long and 1 inch diameter. For the price, huge fail.
Food is good, and actually didn't have to deal with that AI ordering system when I ordered, unfortunately the gentleman with glasses at the window was beyond extremely rude and impolite. The last thing a family wants when spending a day out and getting a bite to eat is to be treated poorly and basically scolded for getting food. All I can say is if I have that kind of interaction at the window again I will not be returning to Lapeer checkers again. Put someone at your window with a heart and actually enjoys working face to face with customers. If I acted like that at my work I wouldnt have a job.

I've been to Checkers at least a couple dozen times. One of the fastest and freshest food services. Don't always have a smiling face, but conversation is not why you go here.Food: 5/5

Using AI at drive thru. Please speak clearly. I wish they they used Kats voice. It's Checkers. Funnel fries are a delectable greasy treat.Food: 3/5
