I had an appointment scheduled a month ago at 4:00 p.m. for a hair treatment, followed by an important event. I arrived at 4:05 p.m. and went directly to the front counter. The receptionist saw me waiting, but she was engaged in a friendly conversation with another customer who appeared to be waiting for someone. Although she noticed me standing there, she did not acknowledge or assist me. I waited until approximately 4:10 p.m. before she approached me.nnWhen she finally came to the counter, she informed me—rather abruptly—that my appointment had been cancelled because I was late. Her tone was rude and dismissive, which was disappointing. This is not the first time I have experienced unprofessional behavior from her. On previous visits, she has spoken to me in a similarly discourteous manner, unlike the way she interacts with other customers.nnI value professionalism and respectful communication, especially when I am making the effort to be on time and plan around important commitments. Unfortunately, this repeated experience has left me disappointed.
I had a haircut by Chelsea L at Chatters. The haircut was okay, nothing like what I showed her, but it was fine anyways. She cut my hair and started blow-drying it. Once she was done, I thought she would show me the haircut and ask if I wanted any changes, but she didn’t. My hair was all pulled back, and she immediately started curling it.nnI asked her to show me the haircut before styling, and when she did, I requested a few small changes. It only took a minute to fix, but then she put the curler back down and asked me to go to the front. I mean, if a customer asks for a few changes and you get so offended that you stop styling their hair, then maybe you should work on your skills so no one questions you next time.nnAnyways, I’m done with Chatters—never going back there
