After staying at one of the campsites available here my companions had this to say: "it's a well kept site with a beautiful view of the Pembina River," and "the people were wonderful." I wholeheartedly agree! The campsite was far enough from the main house to be secluded, easily spacious enough for two vehicles and tents with plenty of room to spare, the grass was neatly trimmed, and it has a clean iron firepit and grill with firewood available. In addition to the terrific view of the river you can also access the water for tubing here. It's only a twenty minute float from this site to the public beach at Sangudo where you can get an ice cream cone before walking or driving the short distance back to your campsite. And finally, you couldn't ask for friendlier hosts. The Grove family are a pleasure to chat with if you're so inclined. All told we're hoping to come back here soon.
