Me and my families had a great dinner here. The restaurant is in a heritage building, which is full of characters. All the dishes we ordered were well balanced and rich in flavours. My favourite dish is the duck wings, braised in maple syrup and soy sauce, it's so tender and flavourful! The service is awesome, our server is very friendly and attentive, and make our dinner extra special.
My husband and I had a great experience there. Food tasted amazing, we enjoyed a wonderful view while having our dinner and our server made it very spectacular the way she served us. If I ever go back to Gibson, I’ll sure try them again.
I live in Sunshine Coast and I selected this resturant based on my hair cutter recommendation and then the reviews on Google and tried to spend 2021 last day eve here with my guest and it was the worst ever in my hosting experience. I will never go to this place again and I will advice all traveller to be alert about the dinner quality, and I will ask the reader to pay more attention to this review prior to select a place for a warm beautiful night. Worst of the worst in Gibsons and Sunshine Coast and in BC and even in Canada! Bad service, bad taste, dirty chairs and table, low quality. Even they don’t care what’s going with dishes on table, never recommended, recommended never try!
Had my elopement wedding dinner here. Great service, great view, and outstanding food!
Excellent experience. I snuck in with way less than the appropriate classgrubby and very casual. Was made to feel welcome by Isabella a very gracious host and server. I had two starters. The Scallops and The FishcakesThey call them Seafood Cakes. Both amazing. The Scallops were cooked perfectly and the pea and truffle puree is something I will definitely try to recreate. The fishcake is one of the very best I have ever had. Btw I grew up on the East Coast and know/love my seafood. I highly recommend this restaurant for guaranteed gastronomical glee!
Good food/Sub-par service. Came for a quick bite to watch the sunset and scout out restaurants to host a dinner celebration later this week. My wife is a doctor and we are celebrating the opening of her new clinic. Unfortunately, I would recommend Inlets or another restaurant. Multiple times we were questioned if we had reservations even after we had been seated at our table- which we did, but I found odd. Other tables got candles and jugs of water and we were sort of left to the wayside- I’m not sure why. None of these truly bothered us that much as we are quite laid back. However, we waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for our main course even with the restaurant having over a dozen empty tables. I watched another table go from bread to appetizer to main and dessert before we had eaten our main. I asked politely for the cheque as we were tired and wanted to head home but was instead told this was “fine dining” and the food takes longer. Having returned from Italy last month I would disagree but to each their own!

I just finished my 3 course take out meal from Chasters and it was absolutely perfect. Do not hesitate to order their take out during these times, their attention to detail and flavors were on point. Everything was cooked just right, and we ended up using the take out boxes to eat from since they put the effort for presentation, there was no need to re-plate it. We will definitely, 100% be back again!
Love love love. Took us in near closing. Service was amazing. Relaxing calm environment. Delicious lamb, foccocia, and sticky toffee pudding. On the pricey side but well worth it.
This place was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! Restaurant with a great view by the water. We ordered lamb rack and duck breast, both excellent. Our server Bernie was also great. Don’t miss it if you are in Sunshine Coast.
