Charley's Restaurant

My wife and I went there for our 10-year anniversary, we had a very enjoyable and positive experience. My wife had blackened chicken with carrot ginger soup and I had the ribeye (done exactly as requested) with salad. The presentation on both were outstanding, we both had drinks to go along with them, the tab beer selection was really good. The service was as good as the food and atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

I went here for a 10-year high school reunion. We started out on the 3rd floor where they had a temporary bar set up with all the basics drinks you'd expect. We had our meals there as well, buffet style. Everyone agreed the meals were great. The two bartenders upstairs were polite and poured great drinks. We then went to the main floor where there was a one-man band. He was definitely solid and didn't take anything away from the environment. It might have been a little loud if you were in the same room, depending on your preference, but there are other rooms that are much more conversation friendly, and I think you would find yourself enjoying the entertainment. Overall, the staff is great. It's reasonably priced. They have a decent selection of alcohol. It's a great place to have an event.

The food quality and quantity has dropped considerably since the last time I'd visited, but the prices are the same. It used to be a really great meal with an amazing environment. Now the environment far outpaces the food or the value, but it's still a decent place to go. SUPER excited to go and visit the new Goss Lobby eatery they've opened for lunch.

I've eaten at Charley's multiple times. In the past the service has been a bit slow, but the food always made up for it. And believe me, I've had some pokey meals there, but the place has more than turned around. The restaurant is still young, but I can not find a meal of this quality anywhere else in town. Everything else isn't really fine dining. Please know that I'm not trying to be pretentious or negative toward my home town, but Charley's really is the best meal I've ever had in town. I grew up in Watertown and have eaten at all the local dining spots. I love them, but when I want to eat food with a more eclectic atmosphere, I go to Charley's. You normally find this kind of dining in a bigger city. Watertown is lucky to have a place like this, even if some folks don't realize it. Try something new and broaden your horizons with Charley's.
