Nice new place in the T&T plaza at the other end with option for take out or seat yourself dine-in. Lots of parking in this part of the plaza and excellent variety of BBQ meats. Meat and rice box is a good portion and comes with broccoli as well as house soup. A very welcome addition to the area!
Very disappointed. We had high hopes for a BBQ restaurant near our area. It turned out pretty expensive, chicken was dry, cha siu was super fat. They also don't allow you to pick sausage as one of the sides, so we had to buy the sausage separately. We ordered 3 rice and half lb of sausage, total came to $45. Not to mention they got our order wrong, we had to drive back to exchange it and they were giving us lots of attitude. I definitely will NOT go back. I'd rather buy it from TNT.
Finally something decent in Markham and close to where I live. I was excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. I've lined up for 15 minutes however it was well worth the wait. The roasted pork was juicy and the skin was crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The roasted duck was aromatic, flavourful and the meat was tender. The portions were generous and the soup was not full of MSG. Highly recommended this BBQ joint if you're in the area.
Was excited to see a new BBQ place where they put their name/pride as Char Siu. Went to order and requested med lean/fatty Char siu and got all dry/lean pork instead. Also got a pound of Roasted pork. Showed me the piece, well over 1lb but it was fine and had a lot of skin when he showed it to me. Got home and opened box to only find 4 pieces of the skin. not sure where the rest of the skin went and the roast pork was also very lean and dry and not a lot of flavor. T&T BBQ was better than this and cheaper. Don't bother.. Save your $$
There were long lines, and I was excited to see a Chinese BBQ pork place near our house. But their BBQ pork had weird flavour and their glaze/sauce had an after taste. It was tough and dry too. I won't be returning here personally.Food: 1/5
I had high hopes for this place as the area does not have many good Chinese bbq options. Prices are fair. I ordered BBQ Pork and half a duck. The duck was great and tasted how I expected it to taste. The BBQ pork was VERY dry we asked for half fat and the sauce used was not good at all. The sauce left a very strange after taste in my mouth. The person preparing the meat is also very slow. There were 2 people in front of me and it still took 20 minutes to get my order. This venue is new so I'll attribute this experience to it being a new restaurant. Will re-visit in a few weeks and hopefully they will have ironed out the kinks.
Ordered 4 times and will be coming back for more, the roast pork, bbq pork, and duck were all juicy and tasty. The soup was flavourful without being too salty! My whole family enjoys the food here!
Order roasted pork & duck with BBQ pork. Authentic HK taste. I will go back for more.Food: 5/5
One of the best cha siu I had before. The pork and duck BBQ was juicy and crispy. Cha siu was tender not dry not too fat just perfect. Service was on point, friendly staffs, great price. This is my go to BBQ place from now on! Definitely come back, will not disappoint!
Just got take out. The BBQ meat is pretty good not as salty and very juicy. Price are cheaper compared to other bbq places near there. Will go back again.
