Nice little park, great to bring kids and grandkids to play on the small playground at one end, great for walking dogs.
I spend so much time here with the kids. The play structures seem to never get old and there is so much space for them to run around. I love finding a shady tree to read a book while the kids hav fun. Bangor's neighborhood parks are the best!
Large grassy area compliments a decent, newer style playground. A Paved path around the perimeter allows for measured walks in a peaceful residential atmosphere with a elementary school next door.
Green park, lots of trees. Walk there EVERY day, weather permitting. Love the smooth blacktop sidewalk around the park, and it is surrounded by some of the most homes I have ever seen. Great scenery for a long walk!
Nice park. Especially enjoy the free concerts Thursday evenings 6:30 with Panstorm, steel drum band. They will be there through August 25, 2022.
I love it because it has a good walking and biking trail my kid enjoys riding his bike there
Definitely your quintessential, quaint park. Yup. It's quaint. And quintessential. You can do park-y things here, like bike riding and birthday parties and watching grass grow. Literally any park fantasy you have you can bring here-- JUST ADD WATER! Seriously. Bring water. Hydrate or die-drate, my friend. You're welcome. Now you won't be too thirsty next time you visit Chapin Park. No need to thank me. Just your friendly, neighborhood Google Maps reviewer here, reviewing a... Park? Look. It was recommended to me by my phone algorithm and I had to comply for Big Brother! Ya happy!? Ehem. And thus concludes my 5 star review of Chapin Park.
It's very beautiful has a great path to walk around the park and a place for your kids to play!
Great local park. Walking solo or with a pet, 1/4 mile around with criss cross paths for variety. Annual block party brings great music, food, and fun for all. Playground equipment is well kept and safe. Ice skating area in the winter is really fun.
Been walking this park for 20 years. Love it..dog friendly and nice neighborhood.
