I'm appalled to admit that I've lived about a 25 minute drive from this glorious trail for ELEVEN YEARS and went today for the first time!!! My hubby and our kids 8 and 9 had a fabulous walk where we saw a tiny frog, a little snake, birds, crabs, oysters, a HUGE variety of cool mushrooms, a fairy forest, lots of painted rocks, and more. What a beautiful gem!! We'll absolutely be back and if you go, please slip a donation into the box for trail upkeep and expansion!
I appreciated the scenery throughout this quiet trail.
One of Eastern Nova Scotia's finest nature trails! There are 3 routes you can take! The small loop is board walk and steps so not handicap accessible yet! 2nd route has a look out tower! 3rd is a rigid hiking trail
Nice place to walk and see nature great for long or short walks
Great, well kept trail. Under nature's canopy! One of the best hikes I have done in awhile. Under 2 hours at a brisk walk.
A simply beautiful and peacefull place to walk in nature, good for children and also a great place to take your dog for a walk. I've had a few picnics here over the years as well. Sometimes you get to see various wildlife such as birds and deer....I haven't seen any bears but I am sure they roam through at times so always be careful like usual when walking through the woods.
A lovely place to spend an afternoon. Sometimes deer, always ducks. Canada geese in the summer.
Great hike some un even footing have good foot wear. Not difficult great ocean views
