Despite not having pictures on the menu, it's a solid 5 star the food is both cheaper and more plentiful than panda express. While tasting good and being fresh. I'd go as far as to call it a hidden gem.
Best Chinese food in Moscow. I love the sweet and sour pork. Such a good sauce. The fried rice is soooo good. Great hot and sour soup. My go to place for great food for a decent price
A plain jane kind of restaurant but the food is always very good and had been here for many years. Wait staff seemed to doubt my request for a clean fork that had food stuck to it when we sat down. She examined it carefully before getting me a clean one. No biggie but made me feel like she was doubting my observation.Food: 5/5
We always have Chang Sing on Christmas Day, it's a family tradition. I know this year they were super short-staffed, but you honestly couldn't tell. The staff did an amazing job and the food was delicious! The portion sizes are enough for several people or for leftovers.Food: 5/5
Overall I am giving Changsing a 4 star. Bottom line the overall experience was mediocre for the price. I do feel that overall a better deal can be found elsewhere at a much better price. For example, Panda both in Moscow 4 Star and especially Lewiston a 5 Star is a far better deal. The food is a much higher quality and this is at a much better price. I feel that Changsing is quite expensive for what you get. The Good. The War Won Ton Soup is bar none a 5 Star. It has excellent flavor with snow peas, carrots hand rolled Wan Tons etc. The price was about $10 and overall an excellent value. The food is very attractive on the plate. This gets a 4 Star. The Bad. The atmosphere if this is important to you was a 1 Star. The building is quite old and in rather poor condition. It is furnished with cheap diner style tables and chairs. Compare this part with a low end truckers dinner. Overall the food is very expensive for what you get. We ordered War Won Ton Soup, Mongolian Beef, Steamed Rice, and vegetable delight with some tea. The Cost $40.41 plus tips. I give the price a 2 star. The service was mediocre. The dishes were dumped on our table in a stack with paper napkins and little flow up to any needs we had. We had to flag down the help to get chop sticks and hot sauce. I give this a 2 star.The food with the exception of the War Wan Ton Soup was bland and very greasy. If healthy food is important to you, I would avoid this establishment. I give quality of the food a 2 Star. Thank You for reading my review. Quite place and the food is the the best. Best pork fried rice I have ever had. My wife is gluten free and the waiter was able to help with her order.
The food was very bad. The egg rolls came cold. The pot stickers were dry. The orange chicken was overcooked. Left feeling sick.
The stir-fried meat and vegetable dishes couldn't get much better, just don't order them too hot. Basically, the menu items which require skill in cooking and fresh ingredients are very good. I usually do take-out, but the restaurant is quiet and has decent tea. What more can you ask?
The owner is always so friendly with my boyfriend and I, and ALWAYS give us full, hot and fresh plates. I mentioned how much I loved the soup and was pretty obviously bummed it's not included in the dinner combo anymore. He put a soup in our take out bag for each of our meals and acted like it was no big deal. True, Genuine Amazing Food. 11/10.
“Chang Sing Restaurant .” = is got the most delicious and tasty Chinese food in the state of Idaho,so my advice,my feelings are i would try it as i have been going there for over 37 + years. It’s own and operated by real genuine and honest trustworthy Chinese people. We love Chinese people and origin,race. No judgment here. My family,cousins and friends all love it and repeat customer,yes…really serious . located on Main Street in Moscow,Idaho,across from the Food coop. ‍‍‍ P.S.price is cheeper than the competition.
