Always good food and easy parking out front. Best Chinese food in town. Large menu offering typical Chinese food fare, including daily specials and lunch specials. You can also order varying degrees of heat/spice to be added to your order. Come here more than once and the owner/operator will likely remember you and your order. She is great! If you’re looking for a quiet meal though, this may not be the best option. You’ll find the owners young daughter has the run of the restaurant and knows a lot of the locals. She’ll often spend time visiting with the patrons. We don’t mind this and enjoy seeing her, but this may be a surprise to others. As for recommended items, I suggest their General Tso’s Chicken and the Crab Puffs appetizer, both of which are quite tasty.
Great Chinese food. Made fresh from very friendly service. It’s fast, hot from being cooked and delicious. They get to know their return guests. Servers remember you and your typical order down to the spice you like. If you’re looking for the best in town don’t pass up Chan’s Wok.
Oh my goodness y'all. I have traveled this country from northern border to southern border and from the Atlantic to the Pacific. This place has THE best General Tso's Chicken I have ever eaten. Hands down. The restaurant is of classic design on the inside, typical Oriental influenced restaurant. Very small and very cozy. Classic rock plays softly in the background and the sounds of hometown people greeting each other fill the air. There is a small selection of beer and wine is sold by the glass. A word of caution, you will be asked if you would like mild, medium or hot on the menu for your entree. I ordered mild and my husband ordered hot. Mild is very mild. It would be safe for children. I'm watching my husband peel off a layer of his tongue with each eye-watering, delicious bite. Hot means HOT.

Amazing customer service. The egg flour soup was so good!! My favorite part was the Crab puffs! They make everything fresh every morning including the yummy sweet and sour sauce. The restaurant has seating with chairs but mostly booths. It was cozy and I’ll definitely be back. Also, I’m visiting around Christmas time and they have a beautiful tree and Christmas music playing.
Just wow amazing service the lady was pry the best server i have ever had and i was just a to go order. The food was great entire family was super happy even my daughter who usually wont touch any Chinese food at all. Chan's wok blows the competition away it's not even close. My family agrees we have found a new place to start going out to. This was my first visit but it will not be my last.
I was very impressed by their hot and sour soup. The rest of our food was tasty, and the service was excellent. This place is definitely one of the better Chinese food restaurants in town, but none of them gets it perfectly. I definitely will come back. I would like to try their Pad Thai. If they do a wonderful job with that, I will be back to adjust my rating.
They do not use MSG! How wonderful! Food was very good, extremely fresh. The chicken and pork were very tender and moist. For good quality, basic Chinese food, Chan’s Wok is perfect. The decor is a little “dated”, but the service was great. And while we were eating, many folks came in for take-out. We will definitely come back the next time we are visiting in the area.
I love Chan's Wok, favorite Chinese in Coos Bay/North Bend. The service is always friendly and attentive and the food fast and fresh. Anytime I go, I always have lots of leftovers. The food is standard Chinese restaurant offerings, but never had a bad meal or bad service. I love the curry chicken and the family meals are a great deal.
Amazing service, lovely staff. I've been here many time. The food is always fresh, quick and they never forget a thing!!.. Best crab puffs in the area. I always reccomend chans wok to family, friends and coworkers and always will..
