Pretty dang good. Just moved to Redmond and ordered from Chans for the first time. We got take out on New Years Eve. The order was packaged well. They wrapped the boxes so we had no leaks. Huge helpings. Huge in that we will be eating it for the next 2 days. We ordered more food than we actually needed for the 3 of us, but we couldn't decide. Their food was much tastier and aesthetically pleasing than other Chinese restaurants we've tried in town.
It's interesting that the same restaurant chain just 15 miles apart could be so different. Bend has fresher, brighter food and it is cooked correctly. You can clearly see the difference in the pictures I took at both. This was very disappointing. The service was quite good, but the food was also slow to arrive. Be wise and drive to Chan's in Bend. They won't disappoint.
I went here for years but the food has gone so downhill with new management, the kid that works there is inpatient, rude, and honestly makes terrible soggy food. This place HAD a special place in my heart but after being treated poorly, and the food becoming wet, and under seasoned. I used to go here almost everyday when i was in high school, very disappointing to see where they have gone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go to Yi's Wok, amazing staff, and fantastic food that is crispy and tasty. I am glad Chan's failed because Yi's is WAY better, and they have a nice big parking lot. unlike chans where its hell just going to pick something up
Chan’s is our favorite Chinese restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is wonderful. They go the extra mile in getting your order just right! Thanks for serving our community with such wonderful and authentic Chinese dishes!
The food is SUB-par. The container's are filled to over flowing. Food all through out the packaging creating a mess. Shrimp Eggfooyung...not! It's eggfooyung w/shrimp tossed in...are you kidding. I could have saved half the cost an added shrimp from my freezer. Six to be exact. The fooyung even looks nasty. No love lost here. First timer , NEVER AGAIN
Food tasted very different than I've ever had. Won ton soap thick almost creamy had no taste . Pot stickers burnt and that's all I could smell on drive home. Will never return. I was warned but I thought I'd give them a chance.
Call me confused. I ordered General Tso's Chicken. Gen Tso's is a staple Asian take out food. It is cubed, batter fried chicken in a sweet dark amber somewhat tangy sometimes spicy sauce. What I received was boiled chicken in a beige liquid with water chestnuts and carrots. No tangy flavor no zip, just blah. Meh. I also ordered combination friend rice. It was a mushy mushy mess withway too much meat in it. Basically, super disappointed with the whole meal. I have attached a picture of what it is SUPPOSED to like like.
Some of the best food in town. Me and my family have eaten there for at least the last 10 years at both the old and new location. and I must say I've never been let down and today's server was by far one of the most pleasant young ladies I've ever been waited on by.
I couldn't wait to leave a review. Absolutely, impressed. I gets better everytime i try this place. Well, this time a home run!Food: 5/5
