I had the Orange Beef which is something I normally wouldn't order but it was recommended. It was amazing. The orange flavor was not some artificial flavoring, it was real orange zest and was not overpowering or bitter like some zest can be. I really don't know how they did it because you could see the actual pieces of orange peel but it was soft and blended in perfectly with the beef and sauce. My wife had phad Thai and it was some of the best we've ever had. The food took some time to get out but it was worth the wait.
I was on a sister date. She had the almond chicken and loved it! The chicken was fried crispy but moist not dry. A hard line to straddle but Chan Bistro did it! I had the beef chow fun. Wide rice noodles with veggies and beef. The meat was moist, flavorful and tender. The sauce was just a touch sweet. To be honest this was not the chow fun I wanted but in Spokane you can't be too choosy . Bottom line the dish was tasty and flavorful. I would order it again and will be back to check out their other dishes!
Wonderful food and amazing service. I went out with my girlfriends and 2 of us have gluten allergies/celiac. The server was extremely knowledgeable and able to adapt almost everything on the menu. Heads up portion sizes are small for the price. Will definitely be going back!
Tasted pretty good! Tom kha wasnt super coconut flavored like I like but still tasted good. Fresh lemongrass and galanga and I could tell! Pad Thai tasted good too! Will probably come back!
This restaurant is tucked into a strip mall. I have heard good things and gave it a try. Friendly waitress and took ordered quickly. I could hear the chopping of ingredients and food sizzling in the pan. I had yakisoba noodles with chicken and fresh veggies. Hubbs had Chan's chow mein Both were good. I did feel portion were on the small side.
Good lunch special during weekdays 11am-3pm $8.99 for 1 entree, fried rice, one spring roll, and egg drop soup. Entree options include Orange chicken, noodles, etc. The fried rice isn't very flavorful but the rest was good.
This place is awesome. Fresh and delicious everytime. Julie and her staff are delightful. Restaurant is quaint and clean. We had Basil Beef and Almond Chicken ...so yummy!
Great food that we all devoured!! The little people ate all the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice, which was so fresh. The fresh Rolls, their version of Vietnamese Spring Rolls, where flavorful and rolled well. If your looking for a new spot to try Chan Bistro won't disappoint!
Me and my wife came here a friday night because we both wanted Asian food but different kinds. I wanted Thai and I order a Phad Thai and she ordered Kung pow chicken. My food was delicious. Her food was good but not to her high expectations. Very inexpensive and good portion sizes.
This was our first time here and it was amazing! We ordered takeout and the lady on the phone who I believe was also the lady who gave us our order was so pleasant and so nice. We got chow mein and orange beef and it was by far the best Chinese food we’ve ever had. This is a local, small business, and we are so happy to have found it. We can’t wait to dine in and support them even further.
