Had a blast celebrating my friends’ birthday at Champs last night! Quality karaoke, inexpensive drinks and an all around great time. The new private room in the back is a must see…. Can’t rave enough about the new bench seating!!!!!

My friends and I went to Champs this week for Dyke Night and ended up having a terrible experience when a man repeatedly tried to insert himself in our pool game. He spent a good portion of the evening trying to take over our pool table, each of us politely told him to wait his turn at different times. After a certain point, my friend had had enough and confronted him about it and he got in her face. I called over the staff to deescalate the situation, but they ended up protecting him and talking down to my friend who was the one aggressed upon. When we left the place, the man was still sitting at the bar. It was my second time there since the ownership change, I am never stepping foot again at Champs. So much for a queer safe space.

We went here on St Paddy’s day. The atmosphere was cool and the tacos were bomb. Drinks were a bit water-downed though.

I've never seen such a renaissance of a bar in Montreal, it's incredible! Recently became more of a queer space, certainly the best place to send lesbian friends.

Absolutely recommend. Everything we wanted but didn’t know where this was hiding. When doing a date night pub crawl to explore places along our walk home, my partner and I decided to wander in here. Little did we know that this is the safe space queer sports bar that we’ve been missing. No doubt this will be our go-to bar for all sports events. Plus they have other queer-related events, and we do not intend to miss those.

First nite we went was no one there and staff were very slow to acknowledge us, so we left. Went back next day for the Canada match and it was packed, service was very slow. Ordered our food at the beginning of match and received it when game had 20 mins left, waited over 1 hr to eat.

Queer ambiance was cool. The stairs are awful if you took one too many.

Wondered in on trivia night while on vacation in Montreal, only planing to stay for a drink but ended up staying all night. What an amazing welcoming bar. The super friendly bartenders made us feel right at home and let us bring outside food in. Once the game was over a DJ started playing great music for a very cool crowd. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I had a blast at this place!! As a Florida, USA traveler, I met the cool new manager, the amazing bartender, and the DJ who was in point with the music, and 5 Stars isn’t enough. The music was great, the drinks were great, and the vibe was great. I made new friends and even learned a little French! I’ll be back for sure!

Whoa. This bar is good now. The new management has done impressive work to rescue this place from the ash heap that is Saint-Laurent. The staff is very professional, and the drinks are good. They've also got SPORTS. Maybe this bar will help the main crawl back from the brink? Time will tell. In the meantime, visit and see!
