I just went today, but sadly its still under contruction. I talked to one of the security guards and they said the whole place will take 10 years to complete, but they will open sections within a few years. So far its amazing!
Sadly the temple is still not open to the public. It’s beautiful to view from the road and I would highly recommend to everyone that you visit even if you aren’t religious. To be in the presence of such magnificent and huge statues is something else!
Late Sept 2022 weekday. On way to Lindsay Road One pass the construction site. Gentleman at the gate tells of completion date be 2023 fall. Not open to public now.
Although, not open to the public to my knowledge. Came across this on a motorcycle ride and it was pretty fascinating. As you can see from the pictures...some still crated and yet to be 'put up'. Still interesting to see the detail and size of them. Humungous. Interesting to finds when you just go for a ride :
Really cool looking place from the road. Hopefully they offer tours again soon. Moreso, I hope they've recovered from the fire last year and rebuilt.
Still under construction, but worth the stop. Can't wait to see the finished project. Even as it is, it is a magnificent building. There is stone work that's been have carved from one piece of rock. The parking lot wasn't officially open, but many people were exploring the many sites.
Hopefully, they're going to complete all the construction in the next couple years and this will be one of the great temple to visit in Ontario. I come at their open ceremony today, it is a mess because most of people are not really sure what they are doing but it is fine. It is a place to visit to relax for your belief. I would come back again in the next couple years to see how far they can go. Love it
The temple is still under construction not officially open yet have to park your vehicle on side way and walk a long way to the temple. The main building is not complete Ang close for visit. The large site is not properly fence for construction so have to watch your steps as you walking around.
Very beautiful place , not open to the public yet ..
We are very fortunate to have this temple and gardens here. The temple looks amazing and the grounds will be too.
