Good selection. If you like some East European foods, that’s the place to shop. Some unique and hard to find foods all all in one place here. Caviar, salted herring, smocked mackerel, cod liver, number of good rye breads, various pelmeni, gingerbread cookies from Moldova, millet, semolina, buckwheat, goat milk, all natural kefir, quality sunflower seeds and sunflower oil, plum chocolate candies and other gems like in old good times. Just keep on searching my friends and you will find it!nFresco management thank you for making those available, keep on ordering the good stuff for a reasonable prices. And we will be back!
I visited FreshCo Abbotsford and was disappointed by how misleading their price-match promotion is. They do offer price matching, but only if the item is on sale at both stores—which makes the whole idea pointless. Meanwhile, outside the store there’s a huge banner claiming “Price Match” and “Guaranteed Lowest Price,” which feels almost hilarious compared to the reality.nnWhen I asked about it, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the experience felt frustrating and not transparent. I hope FreshCo improves their communication and trains staff to explain policies honestly, so customers don’t feel misled.nnAlso better to do a honest sales rather cheating. It wasted our time too. Simply pathetic.
This is a really good Freshco. This grocery store has almost everything you need, plus some other items you might not find at other stores. Unlike the other locations, this Freshco has a Fraserview Meats counter, where they sell fresh marinated meats of various kinds. They also have a variety bulk department at the front western corner of the store. The Abbotsford Freshco is a good alternative grocery store to shop at.
I love this store and go here often because of the good deals they have, BUT…. Second time for me returning meat ! First a while back bought lunch meat it was a month after expiration date so took it back got and exchange ok fine I know it happens one gets missed. Ok but this time I bought ribs which was packaged June 17 it is now July 6 I brought them home was gonna cook it all up and they smelled fowl ! That’s when I checked the date ! Wow I couldn’t believe it! Took them back right away ! Got a refund the manager was great about it ! Thank u to the manager ! But I went back to see if they maybe had different ones with a better date and I couldn’t believe how many were on the shelf ! That’s gonna make someone very very sick! And I was gonna feed it to my kids ! Thank goodness I didn’t. I used to work in the meat department of a store years ago and we were supposed to check every week the dates on products… hopefully this gets done weekly because not only is it unsafe to digest bad meat it’s a pain in the but to return them to a store when ur about to cook dinner !nnI’m sorry for this review I’m disappointed but greatfull that they dealt with it appropriately!nStill will go back but please please please let the owner read this and hopefully something will be made to get done about this reoccurring incidents.
Seems like eveeyone in the pharmacy is new! They lack people skill and situational awareness. Had bad experiences not once but three times with 3 different family members. Where is Tom, he was knowledgeable and competent. Will be switching pharmacies because of the staff.
