I’ve been shopping at this grocery store for some time, mainly due to its convenient location and frequent discounts that make it more affordable than some competitors like Save-On-Foods and even Superstore. However, I’ve noticed a number of serious issues that need to be addressed.nnFirstly, the cleanliness of the store—particularly the washrooms—is unacceptable. On more than one occasion, I’ve encountered extremely unsanitary conditions, including visible waste smeared on the garbage can and last week there was blood on the floor! This poses a significant health risk and reflects poorly on the store’s commitment to hygiene and customer safety.nnAdditionally, I’ve experienced problems with pricing and customer service. There have been multiple instances where I was overcharged and then had to take out of my day and gas to go back and get it refunded. Very disappointing.nLastly, while the store appears to employ a large number of individuals from one specific culture, it would be refreshing to see a more balanced representation of staff that reflects the diversity of the community. Inclusive hiring practices help ensure that all customers feel equally respected and understood.nnI hope management takes these concerns seriously. With some improvement in cleanliness, staff training, and a more thoughtful approach to customer service, this store has the potential to become a much better place to shop. Thanks!
stopped by yesterday. i went thru the self checkout, and i did notice that one staff has autism upon my observation, not an assumption. he went up to his female coworker to let them know they were out of canned pineapples. i think you need to replace this girl with a brick wall. she had no emotion, and not a single CARE for the fact that this male staff member. like you really can’t move a muscle and acknowledge him? is it that hard? i hope this girl sees this review. it’s no one’s fault we have to live life with our own struggles. it’s not a struggle to be a HUMAN and show some sort of acknowledgment. i’m happy to see we are including those with different abilities in the workplace. but others need show some acceptance.
Dairy items left out till warm. Staff is always chatting with each other and not paying attention to the people buying their product. Waved for help at the self checkout and both just ran away. Honestly, only help I got today was the guy handing out baskets at the front.

I used to like shopping here, but I've noticed expired food on the shelves many times. Some of the food isn't past its BB date but seems to be going bad. Three times now we've purchased something that is still within it's fresh date and gotten it home to find it mouldy. I haven't bothered to go in and ask about it or get a refund, but next time I will because it's happened so much. We still love shopping here but I really hope they make efforts to change this. I'm all for extending food's shelf life but when your customers open a new jar to find it's gone bad, that's not cool.nnEdit: just read through the other reviews and I guess I'm not the only one. Some of them from years ago and this is still happening? Does not make for confidence from customers.
