Chalets de l'Anse-à-Jos

What a fantastic find! We love staying or whale watching with Vacance Essipit and they never disappoint. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars across the board is because the DVD player, wifi and laundry room dryer weren't working, but we also didn't ask anyone to come fix them because we were too busy enjoying ourselves otherwise. If you are a nature and bird lover, this place cannot be beat for the quiet, gorgeous changing of the tide, easy access to a great little hike to a whale watching/birding area as well as having all the amenities you could need grocery store, pharmacy, gas nearby. We have paid far more for far less and were thrilled.

Very clean and functional chalet, magnificent location. Ideal for disconnecting and getting a breath of fresh air. The setting is incredible, the welcome is great and a little extra, you can see the marine life from the chalet

It's not always easy to find places to accommodate a family of 6! The chalets at Anse-à-Jos allow for this although the sofa bed for people 5 and 6 leaves something to be desired in terms of comfort. For the same price as it costs us to rent two rooms in a shabby motel which we often have to do to accommodate 6 of us on the road, we have a super charming, fully equipped chalet offering a private beach in a quiet cove and a magnificent landscape. In short, we are extremely satisfied and will definitely come back!
