Summer or winter !! the fishing is so kid /beginner friendly. Easy 20 lil trout a day. They're just little guys so a gentle catch-and-release is important. Beautiful views. Tip*Check weather for wind, this area is known for vicious wind speeds.

Great place to stop for a break on your way north. Washrooms are open all year round. Beautiful and pictureesk. I enjoy stopping here.

Was my first time ice fishing had a great time! It was only -7°c and just a little wind so that probably helped lol. Didnt have an auger but the first guy we asked was happy to let us borrow his so that was a bonus! Didn't catch much, a few suckers we tossed back. Was told it was slow at the time we arrived. From what we were told the fishing isreally goodfirst thing in the morning and before sunset. I think we got there at around 1:30 stayed till 4. But yeah if your around the area def check it out!
