Hotel experience Everything was great no issues with fast check in and great service.nthe only issues were the air conditioner that was not working and could not be fixed during our stay. solutions was i had to call reception for them to crack open the window.nalso, there is no microwave in the rooms.nbut overall 4
We stayed for our anniversary and included the Koena spa package. The room was very spacious and clean. The spa was incredible, and we skipped all the lines as hotel as hotel guest. We will definitely be returning.
Upon check-in, I found some of the front desk staff quite rude and unhelpful. Our room was also not cleaned adequately. What was really annoying however, was the very loud drilling which I assume they got permission for from the hotel at 8:00am! Completely ruined our sleep and I found it very inconsiderate of the guests to do it so early in the morning. Sushi restaurant in the hotel is very good but is on the pricier side even with their 15% coupon they give you.
Spent 20 minutes looking for parking. When I called the hotel to ask where I would find parking specifically for the hotel, the guy who answered was obviously in a rush to get rid of me, rude and unsympathetic. I explained I have been searching for parking for 20 mins and people are double parked, parking anywhere they feel works and people are parking in the handicap parking with no handicap parking stic. The guy said it is what it is. Not his problem not the hotels as the parking is a public parking. The man on the phone did not even think to ask if myself or someone in my party required that parking.nnThe hotel room was dirty. The hotel room smells awful. The garbage in the bathroom is full.nnMade three complaints due to a group of young adults who are screaming, swearing, slamming their doors and blasting music to the point the walls shake. The man who answered these calls said he came up to the floor but he did not hear any noise. He confirmed he did not walk to the other end of the hallway after giving my room number three times. The noise is coming from the room next to us… it is a connecting room.nnAvoid hotel.
Waited over 30 minutes to be checked in. Room was dirty, especially the washroom. My experience was horrible. Rather than being a relaxing experience, it felt like being at club med with kids having a party in the room next door. I called the concierge 3 times and they didn't do much. I had no sleep at all.
