During the consultation we were informed that the work would be easy to complete, within 4 hours. We were also told the production manager would be watching his painters every move. Directing them on what needs to be done. Both of these statements turned out to be incorrect. The work took 2 days to "complete". Day 1 lasted around 8 hours. Day 2 was to correct Day 1's errors, however our main bathroom still had spots that required touch ups. We eventually decided to fix those ourselves since the older painter with the poor vision his words could not accomplish our requests on Day 2. I understand that nothing is set in stone and things come up but the timeframe on the project was not realistic, 4 hours turning into >8 hours for 4 small rooms and 3 painters. I'm sure a reason for the delay was that one of the rooms required 3 coats because of the red paint I chose. I wasn't informed during consultation that this would occur. I would have chosen a different color and I ended up not liking the color in the end. I was only satisfied with the one room guest room. The painter took his time and paid attention to detail. I actually requested him to come back on Day 2 to correct the mistakes on the other rooms but the older painter with the poor vision came back as well. Gave him a second shot and he failed again. The older painter may have more experience but his attention to detail is lacking. The good painter just did minor touch ups on the already perfect room so that was a waste of his and our time. I'm not completely satisfied with the work but I'd hire them again for this house because I'm too lazy to find someone else and the production manager is really nice. It just wasn't up to my standards which is unfortunate because it seemed like the production manager and I had the same mindset on what was acceptable. When the production manager looked over the work he didn't seem happy with it either but didn't follow through to make things right. I just wish that he would have done what he said he'd do and watch the guys like a hawk or even pick up a paint brush to correct the work. I don't expect perfection but I do expect decent work. 4 stars removed for false promises, poor quality, overall experience and giving us the C team everyone deserves the A team. 1 star remains for putting paint on the wall. **Update** I don't appreciate your response. No one should be expected to get down on their hands and knees to check behind the toilet or climb on their shower to inspect the work of professional painters. Could or should an elderly person do that? The answer is no. So why should we? Our home was treated with disrespect and pointing the finger at my husband is embarrassing. Standards are clearly low here. Also, I find it humorous that you now thank the clients that gave you good reviews. Guess now they suddenly matter.
