Where do I start? This is a top notch, internationally respected if not, that’s their issue theatre, stage, venue, hall. I don’t care what you call it, they have done it all and done it well. I have had the honour to attending performances from brass to strings to four piece band and 40 plus pieces orchestra. Throw in Platinum Blonde. Over the Dave Wilcox and Kim Mitchell. Amazing cover bands. Magicians. The list goes on and on. Just ask my credit card. The sound….wow. The comfort and the people. Smiles all around. It’s like Waterloo Region’s Disneyland. Everyone is all smiles and loves being there and being helpful. Not a bad seat in the house and that is especially true this year as they replaced every seat in the house. Added space and comfort wherever possible. As a member I also get to enjoy the lounge prior to and during a show. If you didn’t know the lounge was there…..google that! Rachel and her team will pamper you and take your experience to the next level. High class. High quality and something, as a resident we are blessed to have so close to home. Thanks so much!
Attended Centre in the Square for the first time last night to see Hotel California. The venue is fantastic! There truly isn’t a bad seat in the house. We had a great view from the balcony and the seats were so comfortable. You definitely don’t feel cramped. The employees were friendly and helpful. Very organized from parking to the show. It took no more than 10 minutes to leave the underground parking and be on our way ! Will definitely return !
Very well organized , super clean, absolutely beautiful venue for any event and show. The staff is also phenomenal. Thank you everyone who made our experience unforgettable for the Xavier Mortimer show.
First time here. The theatre itself is beautiful and the dancers are gorgeous in their outfits. The seats are comfy which is awesome since it was such a long show even with Intermission. There are washrooms open on each floor that be all gendered which I thought strange. Concession was okay the prices felt like robbery I knew it would be above normal but jeez. They also offer a way to preorder your drinks for Intermission so you won’t have to wait in line again. The staff were very helpful and really good at their jobs. Please don’t be talking and taking pictures during the show it’s disrespectful and distracting to the performers firstly and secondly staff will walk up to stop you and it’s disruptive. It was so nice seeing everyone dressed up such a lovely evening. Goosebumps.
What a great venue!!! Good acoustics, no bad seats at all. Parking and getting to the building was a bit of a tussle, but big events are never easy, so overall, would love to see another show here.
