Visited Centre Hastings Park during our cottage trip with a few families, and we were blown away by this hidden gem!nnThe playground is an absolute hit for kids of all ages. With slides ranging from small ones for toddlers to thrilling big ones for the more adventurous, our little ones were entertained for hours. The equipment is clean and well-maintained.nnThe splash pad was a refreshing treat on a warm day, and the kids couldn't get enough of it. It's well-designed and spacious enough for multiple families to enjoy without feeling crowded.nnWhat really surprised us was the ice cream stand located in the tourist info house. Not only was it delicious, but its incredibly affordable - just $3.50 for a massive scoop!nnThe park itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. There's plenty of room for picnics, ball games, or just lounging on the grass.
Stopped in at this playground on the drive between Ottawa and Toronto on Hwy 7. This place is an oasis. I have a 1 year old and a 5 year old and they both ran around and got soaking wet in the splash park for 30 minutes, then we are fries and hot dogs before hitting the road again. A+, thanks Madoc!
What a great park! Splash pad, playground, skate park, shade, food and ice cream. What more could you want? Great stop if you need to stretch your legs with kids.
For such a small town by comparison to the test of Ontario. They have gone above and beyond to make kids have a great place to play. Even has a splash pad.
Centre Hastings Park is a local favourite park that is suitable for small children and teenage kids. This park is spacious that includes the Madoc Skatepark, playground, baseball diamond and other fun equipment.nnDuring Christmas times, you will also see the park being decorated with Snowman, Santa and other festive decorations. The next time you are around the area, take a walk and let your children enjoys the playground.nnWe plan to learn and master our skateboarding skills at this park comes summer time!
