The staff are easy to work with and all were very nice. However, I ordered 2 exterior doors in addition to some wood paneling. I called the day before and was told everything was good and they would be delivered late the following morning. I then drove to Margaree from Halifax and began prepping for the install, only to receive a call the morning of delivery telling me that no doors were coming. My time effort and money were wasted because Kent wasn't on top of my order and neglected to inform me that my items were not available to be shipped. When I followed up there was no apology and no effort for good customer service other than the inform me the product was now in so I can now take more time off of work and figure out when to have it delivered.
Staff very helpful, especially guy in the paint department, went out of his way to help.nGreatly appreciated.nCheers Wayne
I have gone to this store for years, and have always found the staff esp. Barry, Paul to be willing to bend over backwards to help. The name transition has not dropped the in-person service level a bit. They give great advice, and have become good friends. I cannot speak to calling in, nor ordering issues. I am sure that a call to corporate to give a calm complaint could be helpful to them and to you.

I would like to give a higher rating because every time I go into the store the staff are always really friendly and helpful; especially the front end cashiers, they're always very nice.nnMy biggest problem is that you can NEVER get through to the department you need when you call in to ask a question; it's extremely frustrating since I live a good distance from the store and can't just run in to ask about a price or some information on a product.
