Central Alberta Humane Society (formerly known as Red Deer & District SPCA) is a 'no kill/max adopt' shelter and adoption center dedicated to the re-homing of unwanted, abandoned and stray companion animals. We are committed to helping animals and the community, and inspiring change through education. This is our mission and together with a dedicated staff, over 500 volunteers, and a generous community of advocates and donors we are making a big difference in the lives of so many desperate, lost or forgotten animals each year.
