Story

Centertown Donair (& Pizza) is a family business that specializes in making Halifax East-Coast Donairs from scratch.

The Anbara Family moved to Ottawa nearly 20 years ago. Having had their own Donair restaurants in Halifax, they felt the need to bring this missing piece of home to the many Maritimers in Ottawa, making them the first successfully established Donair restaurant in the entire region.

Their goal is to introduce this delicious East-Coast specialty food to any and every person who has not yet tasted a REAL Halifax Donair.

When I miss home this is where I go for my Donair, authentic Halifax NS Donair.  Don't forget the garlic fingers.  A taste of NS right here in Ottawa.

Authentic donair from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.  Perfect sauce, meat and pita.

It was perfect as usual 100% the best donair in all of Ottawa hands down. They only make this style of donor on the East Coast

Finally tried this place for the 1st time.  I grew up in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, moved to Ontario 25 years ago, havent had a good donair since until I had it here.  Thank you thank you!!  This is the real thing for sure!!

Best Donair I've had in decades!  The meat, the sauce, bang on!!  My Daughter found Centertown D&P online. Very friendly place, covid safe. Will definitely be going back nextime and no dout everytime im in Ottawa.

Authentic maritime donaire. Sauce and garlic fingers are on point!

I've been eating here for years. The staff is amazing and the food sure hits the spot. Best donairs I've had since moving from the Maritimes. And of course gotta get the garlic fingers with donair sauce!
