Stopped on our move to Alaska at the park to walk my dog. Unexpected hidden gem, what a lovely park. Neat path with bridges leading to a small waterfall. Tons of other amenities in the park we did not have time to explore as well. Definitely on my must stop list for any future roadtrips passing through 100 Mile House.
Nicely done and laid out city park. Deep into the wood easy to walk path with a nice rewarding waterfall at mid point
Beautiful little walk and a stunning waterfall that is easy to get to.
I grew up here and spent 80% of my time in the trails. The trails along the creek are absolutely endless with a few excellent swimming holes along the way. The water is usually calm, shallow and completely safe for children & dogs in the summer months. It might not look it, but one could catch a decent size rainbow trout on a good day.nAll trials lead to the park which has all the amenities a family could be looking for. Washrooms, playgrounds & water.nYou will notice the large hill that fills up the background which was once the former ski hill. If you’re up to the challenge & want a workout, there are clear visible trails that lead to the top that will lead you to a great view of the town and the valley. These are also excellent trails for mountain bikes or for dirt bikes, however they’re NOT for novice riders. Go prepared with water for it is a workout to get to the top.
I love this walk! Lots of interesting things to see as you go.
