Amazing park with a walking path and. Great place to go over skating! Pretty big area to skate, Bring your own or else they had decent rentals for $8. They had lockers to rent for your things or else most people just left their shoes out while they skated with no problems. They also have sledge for rental if you’ve toddler. Pro tip: if you're paying with cash you can rent your skates at the concessions stand and skip the long skate rental line!
What a great place for families or even a date. We went putting & did the paddle boats. It was a blast to enjoy a day together in this beautifully maintained setting. It’s well worth the $10 a person. The paddle boats are awesome to get out there and exercise more while hanging out together having a great time. The side with the Microsoft building is breathtaking. It was a great day and we enjoyed ourselves today. The college aged employees were friendly and helpful also. Definitely a must do!
Gorgeous park with trails overlooking the water, plenty of seating chairs + tables set up, shops within walking distance. Trails extend further behind The Container Store and become woodsy.
Beautiful park! Very clean and well maintained. Gorgeous walking paths. Great place to take your dog for a walk!
Beautiful park with Nice scenery, enjoy golf and boating. Just an awesome place. Must visit.
One of my favorite park in Minneapolis. Good to hangout in any season also good place for photography
Gorgeous pavilion w/ plenty of nice wood benches indoors to gear up, a huge fireplace & reasonably priced skate rentals + concessions. The lake itself is straight out of a good Hallmark movie: an absolute dream come true. Follow the park's fb page for near-daily updates during skating season! So grateful for the people who run maintain it & made a lifelong dream of skating @ such a picturesque spot, on a REAL lake, come true after 29 years of waiting.
Everything about this place is wonderful. Walking paths are great, mini golf, paddle boats, love the summer out door movies, skating in winter. Such beautiful scenery. Enjoy this park . Went to the park this beautiful spring Minnesota day and it was prom day and it was beautiful lovely dresses lovely people and beautiful weather this is the greatest place ever to walk n do things and have get togethers. Nice summer night went and sat under the full moon they have it well lit beautiful place. Went on this beautiful October fall day the trees were so gorgeous lots of people wedding that look like was going on such a beautiful place to walk and there was a craft show in the place. Just went there in February of 20 23 beautiful February day and this place has the best ice skating rink ever with a warming house and snacks and I walked it's gorgeous I keep it so nice there so winter summer spring go enjoy
Wanted to find an outdoor rink with some actual room to skate, this was the perfect location! Three rinks connected by small river way and all maintained extremely well. Probably the best outdoor ice I’ve skated on. Has plenty of places to put on skates and there seems to be no issues with anyone swiping boots or bags. They allow sticks and pucks on South rink. No issues with out of control kids, was great to be able to skate without constantly stopping for people. Huge parking structure right at rink with plenty of parking. Rinks are lit and you can skate until 9:30. Super fun and a great spot!
Amazing, I can't believe I've driven past this hundreds of times and never visited... What a gem. Great walk with tons of places to sit and relax. Bring a lunch, or pick one up at one of the many food options nearby.
