Revised my review after having an average lunch yesterday a wonderful breakfast this morning. I highly recommend the Arlington Skillet and the Eggs Benedict, both were very good. I met the new chef after our meal and he admitted to past issues with the restaurant that he has worked hard to improve. I would say he is on the right track. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world
My family stayed at this resort and had dinner and breakfast here. It took over 45 minutes to be seated each time, but once we got in, it was really good. Attentive waiters, delicious food and reasonably priced too. I'll go back when possible.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: No
First time here for my girlfriend and myself’s anniversary and I loved it. Super fast service and the waitress was very NICE. Girlfriend got the prime rib and said she loved it and might be one of the best she has had. I got the seafood Alfredo and it was to die for. love this place and will for sure come back in the future
I ordered the club sandwich, and I'm not even a member! It was nice to have somewhere to eat at 10pm, but the limited menu had very few appealing options. The best part were the house made chips, and our friendly server. It was better than not eating, but was just meh.
The wait time was good. We were told that it would be 45 mins. But we were texted within 15 mins that table was ready. The prices are very reasonable. Portions of food was nice size. The food was absolutely amazing. The only reason I’m not giving them a 5 star was the wait time for getting the check/bill was a little long.
A recent visit here with 3 friends was a very nice dining experience. The hostess was friendly and we were seated right away. Our server Tim was honestly one of the best I've encountered in a long time! He was extra accommodating with one friend who had dietary restrictions and needed help navigating the menu. In recent times where staff is hard to find and folks can just "get by", he didn't. He obviously takes pride in his work and he is very good at it. Complementary bread was provided right away, water glasses never dipped below half full. The food came out in a timely manner and hot. I had a simple burger with fries and the food was on point. Others had steak, chicken and dumplings and salmon and everyone seemed very happy with their food.
I ordered a club sandwich and I asked that it be very well toasted. The sandwich was brought out and it did not look toasted but I thought I'd try it anyway. I took a few bites of the triangle cut sandwich. It was a machine and wet and really could not choke it down. I asked if they could re-toast it and I was told no. They have already toasted it twice. They said they cannot read toast it. Poor response. Poor service. Not impressed with Cedars. I really do believe the customer is always right. We are paying for what we ask.. They did not offer any other service or way to help with the situation.
When we stay we always have breakfast. Eggs Benedict are great, ham steak is great too. Charlie is our favorite server we always ask to be seated in her section. I never wait more than half hour to be seated.
Come here most times we go to the casino. Love to see what the soup of the day is. Never go wrong with the soups! The salmon is amazing but I can never pass up the clams.
Overall, the experience was semi-ok. Service wasn't the best. Food was great. Seating was slow. Table wasn't cleared of glasses, ever. Water wasnt filled. We had a huge collection of dirty glasses we had to stack for room. Plates were not cleared until dessert arrived. Only reason they were cleared was there was no room to put desserts. I have been in roadside diners with 1 waitress and 8 tables, with better service. I saw 5 people "working" and only 6 tables seated. No excuse.
