This place was fantastic.  We had a friend's birthday party here.  There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and 4 bathrooms. Bar and kitchen area was open and spacious. To top it off the boys enjoyed the pheasant hunting too. I highly recommend this place.

Spent some time at Cedar Valley with an old friend and a new friend yesterday.  Beautiful spring afternoon.  Besides the incredible hospitality, our guide had one of the nicest German Shorthairs I've been able to hunt with.  Close ranging, very responsive without a whistle and awesome rock solid points.  One of the best pheasant hunts I've had in a while.  Missed a couple and made a nice long shot.  Great BBQ brisket lunch before and cheese, crackers and sausage after.  Nice watching the NCAA tournament after the hunt also.  I would recommend Cedar Valley Hunt Club.  I'll be going back next month to start training my new lab puppy.

Cedar Valley makes you feel welcome; with the owners and the hunting-guides being all very down-to-earth and genuine.  Beautiful setting in the hills, fantastic lodge, and peaceful. Experienced great birds and awesome hunting cover over multiple hunts. Definite winner!
