In April of 2017, my wife visited the physicians at Cedar Valley Podiatry for an ankle issue that was a result of a work injury and a previous accident. She was given several cortisone injections in the area and was told that they could offer no further help for her. They they proceeded to bill us $1,795, which all but $561 was paid by insurance. We disputed this since they had not done anything further to aid her pain or refer her to someone who could provide a permanent solution and relief. After much searching, we found a specialist out of Covenant now Mercy One who could perform a complete replacement. It took more than a year and over $100,000 before my wife finally had relief and could go on living a more complete life. Recently, they filed a civil lawsuit against her for the $561. Words cannot describe how angry we are with this organization. Our advise - stay away from these people. A quick, expensive shot is not the cure all that they want their patients to believe. As hard as it may be, take your time, do your homework and get several opinions. It just may save you from a place like this and the never-ending battle with your health and pocketbook. A message for this organization - if you're thinking of suing us for slander, then go right ahead. We're prepared this time and a malpractice suit seems to be just what the doctor ordered.

Got X-rays and a 5 minute "exam". Billed $81 for X-rays $72 after insurance and $275 for "exam" $231 after insurance. "Exam" consisted of doctor pressing on my foot a couple times and telling me I needed $500 custom orthotics to fix the pain. Needless to say, won't be going back for orthotics.

We had a great experience at Cedar Valley Podiatry. Dr Morreale was very gracious with his time.
