This stay was such a peasant surprise. We needed a place to stay in the area on our trip exploring the National Park, and this was what was available in the area. We got there and we were pleasantly surprised by the resort. Well kept, cute, clean rooms, a wonderful pool/spa/sauna building, a staircase down to the beach, and an excellent dinner at the restaurant. We only stayed a night, but was one of our favorite stays on the trip. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a getaway in this area!
My friend and I needed a weekend getaway, and we chose this place randomly searching on internet. We traveled from Seattle with two kids, a teenager and a toddler, and one elderly dog. Thinking that we might not have the peace and quiet because we didn't know what the place will be like, we actually had amazing time relaxing. From the check-in staff, to restaurant staff and everyone else included, the friendliness and absolute professional attitude, we were truly welcomed very nice. The rooms in the renovated building were really nice, very spacious and clean. Loved the wood floors and the views of the ocean. The pool and the spa building was across the street, which made me little worried about my kids crossing the outside back to our room, since the weather was really windy and cold, raining. Lady in the pool building offered us countless towels to use and showed us to the changing rooms, to dry off, which most of the other hotels didn't have. I was pleasantly surprised when we were told there are swimming accessories life jackets, floats, etc available at the pool for use. Restaurant ambiance was truly enjoyable and very intimately created. Very quiet, even though every table was occupied. Servers Kyle and Anthony were very friendly and very professional, specially dealing with my toddler, a very picky eater, and I appreciate their understanding of him making a fuss about his mac n cheese . Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing stay, we even got to walk down to the beach to catch few rays of sun. Thank you all Ocean Crest staff, I will definitely be back again.
We stayed for 2 nights. It was amazing. The room was huge with a gorgeous view off the balcony. The king-size bed was so cozy. The restaurant served delicious food, the clam chowder was my favorite. The beach was practically empty which I adored ... it was a beautiful, relaxing time. Can't wait to go again!Rooms: 4/5
From the outside, Ocean does not give off what a special gem this place is. The king ocean view room was probably one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in for that price. The dinning room breakfast and dinner were absolutely fantastic! The house wine was delicious, ended up buying the bottle and bringing it back to the room to drink on the patio listening to the waves.
During one of our camping trip with my son, we had breakfast in Ocean Crest Restaurant. Inside of restaurant is very nicely setup, I noticed they had a nice bar it was closed in morning when we were there spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. The quality of food was great and very tasty. My son had the Buttermilk Pancakes and I had the Beach Breakfast with razor clams... it was delicious and very well made.
I cannot review the hotel- though the view is gorgeous. The restaurant!! Is phenomenal! Hands down this is a foodies dream… So good! Everything is Fresh! Cooked like no other place- and we eat everywhere at every place with “the best” reviews…. Constant let down… - The Chef here is amazing! Consistent across the years too!
Family had a great lunch there. It's about a 40 minute drive but well worth it! Food was great but I wish some of the dinner plates were on the lunch menu. But very nice place with a nice view of the ocean! If you're looking for an away from it all place but with great food this is the place for you!! We'll be back!!Service: 5/5
The rooms have the most amazing view! There is the most incredible mouth-watering food! The staff was so kind and friendly! We highly recommend the resort and restaurant. Just perfect! Thank you Ocean Crest!Rooms: 5/5
This food is amazing in all the flavors. I mean, maple balsamic peaches over awesome pork steaks! And different flavors on beef medallions was incredible with the béarnaise sauce. Just amazing. This is our third time here and we’ll definitely come back. Great service and beautiful view of the ocean from the cliffs.Service: 5/5
Had a perfect one-night get away. The little cabin was perfect for the two of us. Came on a Thursday night to catch a special and we had the pool and spa all to ourselves! The staff were super friendly too! Will recommend to my friends!
