Great little beach that almost NO one knows about! It is free! All you have to pay for is parking Cedar Point. Even the people at the parking booths dont know about this place! The beach closes at midnight also. There is a Fridays restaurant and The Sand Bar back there too! Many volleyball courts along the beach too. Bathrooms at the Sand Bar for public use as well. Oh and they have showers on the sidewalk to rinse the sand away. It was pretty clean when we were there. We made sand castles and relaxed on the beach. The kids went swimming and had a blast! My husband also brought his metal detector but all he found was rusty old nails. Pack a picnic and bring floaties and towels and sun block and pay the $25 to park. It is worth a day at the beach! And since no one knows about it, its pretty quiet except for the hotel guests. We had a great day here!
Okay beach. Some areas are dirty and trashy. Parking is pricy $25 for a day. Nothing else to do but sit and occasionally go in the water unless you have theme park pass. I was not impressed but again I had big hopes growing up going to Lake Michigan from WI side. No comparison if you’re wondering.
Very underrated place! Sand and beach is very clean and for it to be lake Erie, the water is nice. There are lots of things for a family to do including, jetskis, canoeing, parasailing. Lots of food and drinks steps away from the beach! My family and I enjoyed Cedar Point Beach and will definitely make this our spot for a quick getaway.
This beach is so amazing , the sand feels like kinetic sand right from the box!! Do your self a favor and make your toes burry in this soft... soft sand.
A great way to end the night with their DJs and a fun place to dance and enjoy drinks. The staff was great and the entertainment staff kept the party going. Thank you so much for having late night things that we can enjoy after the parks are done! We had a great time and went both nights we were there!
Such a great place. We had lots of fun hanging out on the beach and all the fun activities and things to do. It almost makes you feel like your really by the ocean. I’m from the Jersey Shore so I know what it’s like and you definitely can’t tell. We loved the games and the staff was great, especially Hanna, who was so helpful and a great asset to the beach. Love the views and the atmosphere.
The people on the beach did real good in social distancing, which made me and my family feel comfortable l. I like the fact you had to get you temperature checked. Sand was since and pretty and water wasn't half bad for a lake.
Had a great time at the beach. Some ppl don’t clean up behind themselves so just be mindful walking around. It wasn’t crowded when I went on a weekday so it was a peaceful even with family
It looks like dirt but it's really soft sand and clean
The only reason I did not rate this a five star was because of the lack of bouys to protect the swimming area from boaters and jet skis. There is plenty of beach with gentle slope into the water, soft sand for kids to play in, volleyball or cornhole. Nice bar with live music and big bathrooms that also act as changing rooms. But one idiot jet skier ran right up onto the beach and another anchored two jet skis in 2 ft of water right where little kids were swimming. Cedar Point needs to manage this better or someone's going to get hurt.
