Overbooked course, four groups deep waiting on back 9, w walkers as well. Asked for a refund, refused a refund and then got a rain check for less than half of what I paid for 18 holes! Super disappointing
Very well maintained course. Fun layout. Very friendly staff. Course has a driving range, putting green and chipping green. Easy to walk course. I will be back for sure!
Great course very well kept. Riverwood national is the better of the two
Great spot, lowkey with friendly people and on the ball bartending. 100% would recommend
Computer problems in the clubhouse so took 10 minutes to check-in. The with the #1 tee across the parking lot the guy tells me he's issued all the cart keys for our group out so I should stand outside with my thumb out and hope someone picks me up on the hottestday of the year. Got a refund and left!
Place is awesome. Not 5 stars in terms of challenging but perfect for what it is. Awesome neighborhood course. Great staff.
Considering that we are in the middle of a drought I was not expecting the conditions to be very good. I was wrong. From tee box to green the course was in GREAT condition. Very fun course to play and loved the Finn Scooters! Give this course and the scooters a try! You won't regret it.
Love this course! Always really green and well taken care of. My mom lives on the course and I always hold it when I’m town
I've played all 18 holes once and just the front 9 two other times. The course has matured from the first time I played it when it had first opened and the course is maintained by people who care, it was in very good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. They've also recently upgraded their golf carts and are very comfortable and have GPSaccurate, scorecard and other information on nice sized screens. Where the course falls short imo. Power lines run through part of the course along with winding through a neighborhood which is a draw back. When it comes to the course and layout, though again it is kept in great shape, the course is very plain. Tee to greens are very straight and the greens don't stand out. Unfortunately like most courses after it rains this course doesn't handle water well. It happened to rain 3/4 hours before we played and most sand traps had puddles and fairways were soggy. Make sure you play on a dry day. For the other courses I've played in Minnesota and out of state I don't believe the cost of playing is equivalent to the experience of playing at Cedar Creek. Personal pet peeveat most courses Golf cart cost for a solo golfer - $1818 holes 2 golfers in the same cart - $36; I believe that to be a shady practice. I guess you have to make money anyway you can. It comes down to choices, that's why I'll more than likely only play this course a couple times a year at most. There are better options within a 20 mile radius.
They didn’t book our tee time when we called the night prior, they said they would squeeze us in and get us onto the course but then we’re pushing our squeeze 4 -some to the point we had to pick up or balls and move to the next hole afte which we were waiting at the tee box the rest of the way through.. and on one hole we even waited for a guy to “play pool” for his putt! Felt rushed from the start being a “squeeze in” when we shouldn’t have been, and then just got worse o. The back 9 when they made us pick up and move to the next hole! will never go back!!
