This is a beautiful, modern facility. I like that they allow their large spaces to be used for community events. There is convenient, affordable parking close by. The building is right in the centre of the city and it's within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops and ammenities. I'd like to find out about the rental rates for holding audience events in their space, like the one I attended there.
What a fun tour! Although I'm an American, I'm hooked on CBC News and many of their shows Dragon's Den, etc.. Canada has heart and soul!

Great Canadian staple. In the summer time they put on lots of free shows at lunchtime so it's great to stop by and enjoy. The archives are great to walk by, the whole building is riddled with history and interesting photos of bands, interviews and even the construction! Staff are nice and great to practice your french with. Birds on the roof can be a problem.

Visiting CBC Open House today, supporting the Food Bank in the process, was a great start to our weekend. Did a tour of the Newsroom, meeting some of our favourite hosts they're all our favourites. The entertainment was so fantastic Company B Jazz Band, I think it was called that listening to Christmas music was actually enjoyable.
Well folks what can I say about the best group of presenters so well matched, both the radio and TV seem to have picked the best. The musical nooners are great every year we come downtown to enjoy the Free entertainment.
CBC News Vancouver offers a far more balanced approach to reporting on all issues, particularly important breaking news and news of public safety. CBC steps up to the plate as need and when needed. Good work CBC.
