Always clean. Employees are always nice and helpful , never nasty and rude! Good quality selections!! Prices are good compared to the local and big chain stores. Freezer extra cold to ensure freshness of meats. If you’re looking for low priced veggies and fruit look elsewhere.
Awesome deli, Philly cheese steak- you gotta try this! Most of the cooked meats on display will make your mouth water, my 1st time there and won't be my last, going for the baby back ribs next, even the fried rice was delish. grilling outside? Try their thick steaks mmhm.
This was my first experience, I loved it! The store was clean, well stocked, and the meat was pretty and very fresh! When I get a chance sometimes I go to the Gratiot Central Market, but only on the weekdays, never on Saturday! Too much walking around, and on Saturday too many people in my way. I like to get in and get out without having to fight my way. And now I won't be buying from a supermarket ever again for my meats. The Bundle purchases is the best way to go to fill up the freezer for a whole lot less than the grocery store!
VERY clean store. The best place to get meat in the area I live about 6-7 miles away and still make the trip. Can buy in large quantities for huge savings and have the butchers cut it for you, or buy regular cuts for great prices still. Can't recommend enough
You're going to pay a bit more here, but I find that it's worth it. The quality is better, they have a great selection, their pre-made meals cold and hot are absolutely amazing. I only come here for produce and meat, the odds and ends in the middle of the store are insanely high price. Like $3.50 for off brand ketchup. No thanks.
Cattleman's has nice prices for their meats, really pretty Steaks. It's even better when you catch the sales! The store is always clean and neat, there is a variety of produce and it looks pretty good! Variety also of Bakery Cakes & Breads. You can also get lunch here. The Deli counter is really nice! Great made salads!
It's a very friendly staff. Had a pretty good of variety that you can pick from for cold items that you can heat up at home yourself. It works well for me because I live by myself but they also have a delicious delicious treat section. Wish they would bring back the banana pudding
What a nice grocery store. We saw a lot of unique items like pickled eggs, beets, salsas, etc. and very friendly staff. The food they had displayed at the deli area looked fresh and smelled great too. The building itself was much smaller than a typical chain grocery store like Kroger or Meijer, which made for faster shopping and less walking if that's a concern for anyone. It was a tiny bit crowded and the prices were a little high compared what I'm used to on some items, but those are the only draw backs I could think of. I'll definitely be back again.
This was one of the best grocery shopping experiences by far. I love to grocery shop and I love a sale or coupon. But if you come to this store you will save and be super happy with all of your purchases. The produce looks like they came in and shined each fruit and vegetable. Each department is perfectly set up and they are so nice and friendly all the way down to the checkout. This is my new grocery store. Well done Cattlemen's.
The chicken nuggets are way over cooked. Barely edible. The pieces are small which is ok but they're cooked too long. Overall the meat and service is fine. I always buy the discount meat, stock up every 2 weeks or so.
