Camping sites were nice but close together. Host was very friendly and helpful. Felt safe and had an enjoyable stay. Got in two rounds of 9 and it was a nice course and the nineteenth hole was great for an evening drink.
We got there late 9 pm Very friendly hostess greeted us and directed us to our campsite. Showers were warm and nicely appointed. Convenient laundry. Quiet and pleasant campsites. Nearby trail to hike. Very tidy and clean and reasonably priced. Golf club next door if you like golf. Would definitely stay here again.
The RV park and washrooms were very nice and clean! We don’t golf and were staying in the area for mountain biking, however, the discounted price for guests was intriguing! The host of the RV park was very helpful and friendly! The showers are said to be 7 minutes however myself and a friend did time both of the ones in the womens and men and it is only 6 minutes- the laundry facility however, makes up for the missed minute! Only 2 dollars per wash and dry and it is fairly quick. There is only one washer and dryer however, which can cause to multiple people wanting to use it at once. The only down side to this place, which honestly seems like a Castlegar problem and not that of the RV park- was the moth infestation at night. Turns out there’s a small gap in our window sill when it’s open and we left our light on for only a few minutes and came back to 100’s of moths in our trailer. They were everywhere that night. An infestation of them. They were all over in the bathrooms as well, however, they seemed to be cleaned up the RV staff fairly early in the morning. Otherwise, a great stay!
Just outside of Castlegar is the small about 20 sites RV Park at the Castlegar Golf course. The Park is well laid out and maintained. There are many trees. All sites have good, level, gravel pads with water and either 30 or 50 amp power. Note that there is no sewer dump, either on the sites or at the Park. It is necessary to travel into Castlegar to dump your tanks. The Park does have excellent washrooms and a laundry facility so it is possible to extend the time until it is necessary to dump. Access to the Dove Hill hiking trail is just beside the Park and views from the hill are well worth the climb. Discounts are provided to users of the Park who also want to golf. The Golf Club Restaurant and Lounge are open to users of the Park as well. There are numerous activities available in Castlegar and the surrounding area.
Nicely maintained and beautiful! Had a lovely round and also enjoyed the driving range. Stopped in the pro shop and let one of my sons pick a hat and shirt since it was his birthday and the gentleman working there gave him a few "birthday extras" too.
Price per night is fantastic, tent sites are huge, the campground host is very hospitable and went out of her way to help us out. Food at the clubhouse is great and the golf course looks like it would be a lot of fun. The nearby trail network was also great. I took the kids for a short walk there and they enjoyed the connection with nature. We will definitely be back and I recommend you go there too.
Very beautiful place. Water and electric only. No dump station, no TV. Nice restauranTV. Excellent wifi. Gorgeous golf course, wasted on us as we are not golfers.
The hosts are amazing! Wish I stayed long to golf but I only got to stay 1 night at the campsite. Will make another trip out! Washrooms are clean and they do offer showers
