At possibly the worst time of my life I reached out to the Castlegar Funeral Home and had an appointment the next day. Ali was so calming and helpful in every way. She went through the process with us. Reviewed any questions we had. Very understanding. The funeral home will call you back quickly if you have any questions. For a process I did not look forward to, they made it a beautiful experience for our loved one. I really can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend them in your time of need.
If your loved one has passed, I would recommend Castlegar Funeral Chapel. A caring place. They are amazing with the extras, a lock of hair and asking what music my loved one likes so they could play it for him on his way to his finale destination. Felt very much at home.
Although it is a difficult time dealing with the passing of a loved one Ali was fantastic. The package they put together was complete and very informative Ali went over every detail what the funeral home can help with and what must deal with. She offered what is a priority and approximate timelines. copy of package to take with Even the billing was explained line by line. Elizabeth followed up few days later to check if we needed any assistance she was very kind and respectful. I would certainly recommend Castlegar Funeral Chapel to anyone requiring there service, eventually we all will. Thanks for the help!
Zac was beyond helpful in navigating all the stuff needed to be done. He made the process essy in a difficult time. Did everything to ease some of my burden and kept me updated every step of the way Supportive and very caring staff.
The funeral chapel is highly recommended by me and my family, as they were there to support in a time of needing such help. They handled everything that came up, included the insurance company that looked after document applications and completion. The options were presented and available for us to choose. Their posting on the website included photos and a lengthy obituary. They supported me in every way, often checking to see how I was coping. I can't say enough about the service, except thank you!

It is hard to 'rate' such a business, but they dealt with our loss very well, especially considering the very difficult circumstances. They had very good protocols in place to handle physical distancing. They handle all matters efficiently, but with great sensitivity.
