Always a pleasure to go to Castle Kilbride. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The place itself is one to be ventured. A great family stop.
Great historical building; unfortunately, did not have a chance to book the tour yet. Large parking at the back and a short educational walking loop with few Canadian Prime Ministers’ statues.
Nice that the introductory video is only a few minutes. Wonderful to walk through this home. Some of the decor was stunning. So many interesting artifacts to view. Loved it. Staff were informative and friendly.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We webt on a holiday tour. It was amazing! The details on display were fascinating. The tour guide gave just the right amount of explanation, and had the right instincts to be quiet and let us explore in peace when needed. Such a local treasure.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Our visit to Kilbird Castle was an amazing step back in time. We were warmly welcomed by Taylor, the receptionist/host, very knowledgeable she answered all our questions. The Christmas decorations, and the toys across the years take you back in time. A wonderful way to start off the holiday season.
This place would be better if it was free to view or at a more competitive price such as $1/$2. The price to get into this "museum" is $6.50 and you cannot take pictures or record videos! What is the point to pay such a price if I cannot record the moment. The township really needs to re-evaluate its policies.
Love the wall art - incredible! Interpreter was very knowledgeable with a degree in art & history, so well done
It was very interesting to hear about its history and the life and times of the family. A very different time compared to today, even for the wealthy. Great opportunity but also great hardships for all. Definitely worth the time to visit.
Absolutely stunning place to visit! Well preserved and enjoyed the fact that signs identified what was original and what wasn’t. Staff happily answered all questions we had but also gave us space to enjoy the museum at our own pace.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
