I hosted a 40th birthday party at Castle John's and it went really well! Servers did a great job considering the size of our group, everyone really enjoyed the food, and there was no shortage of beverages ordered either! I recommend keeping Castle John's in mind next time you have a group get together of some kind, they did a really great job making it work out for us! Thanks!

The veggie stir fry was surprisingly good for a restaurant specialized in chicken. The burgers are just okay. The waiter was really friendly and helpful.
We have ordered 3 times for business lunches and there have been mistakes twice. Once we did not receive any of the drinks we ordered and today, 2 of our sides were wrong. We ordered Caesar salad with 2 of the meals but they came with french fries. On top of that error, we were charged $4 for each of the missing salads. So $8 charged for food we never received. A refund was never offered when we called to bring it to the managers attention. The only solution offered was to have the salads on our account for next time but we don't feel comfortable ordering from here again.
I have had a number of different dinner options at this location and have been completely satisfied with my meals. However I was lucky enough to order their Boston Clam Chowder Saturday night and it was the best soup I have ever in my life had. If you have the opportunity to try this soup go for it, it is amazing. Parking: Plenty of parking
I go to castle John's on a regular basis over the last few months with my kids. Tonight I was informed by our superb waitress they are short staffed for unforseen reasons and to bate with them. The service was excellent and in timely fashion as always. Love this place! Great atmosphere guys. Keep up the good work. Recommending Castle John's port hope to anyone who appreciates great service and delicious food.
We went for brunch and the food was not good, the eggs benedict was overcooked and the avocado was getting pretty brown. I'm not too picky of an eater but I could only eat a few bites. My husband's cheese melt was too salty for him. That said, the price was so cheap and the fries and onion rings are pretty decent, so if you do decide to come just stick to regular pub food.
Service was good but the food came out very slow. Granted we had a large table I would still expect 10 lunches to be out in less than 45mins. Food was good, I had the club, was breast and not processed which is my preference.Food: 4/5
This is the 4th Castle John's I have been to and this one did not disappoint. Very spacious ,very modern interior, has a good vibe. Large outdoor patio outside. Menu is good and food delicious. Service and staff were excellent and friendly.
If I could give this place negative stars I would. The food is beyond garbage. Jailhouses would be embarrassed to serve it. Packaged frozen undercooked half cold and god awful. Seriously bad bad food. Gave the server a tip because they deserve it just for having to face customers who have been served that excuse for food.
