Amazing and Well-Priced sportsbar. The staff was really on their foot and we didnot have to wait much on our order. The quality of food was quite amazing and we enjoyed it to the last bite. Looking forward to see more of their franchises opening up around Toronto.
We have been to this establishment several times now, and we had the pleasure of meeting Julie. Julie goes above and beyond. She was very attentive and our whole group was so impressed with her service. We will now make this our local regular place we come for a drink and food ! Amazing ! We love this place !!
Bought meals for take out and food was great!! The only issue i had is that it was not mentioned that burgers have no condiments added. Being we are on a trip, we only discovered that once it was too late. Would be great if this was considered to be mentioned when someone takes out food.
Not sure what changed here...maybe new management? Experiences have been from takeout. We have tried them back 3 separate times over the past few months. Unfortunately 1 of those 3 was positive and when your roughly 75 to 150 an order not going to be back. Forgotten items from orders only discovered at home to drive back and wait again with absolutely zero regret or accountability. Wings were not even sauced and seems like they water down or use little to no sauce any more. Half the wings taste reheated. Used to be one of our go to places every other month for some pub favourites. Something changed the last year. Servers however are usually very friendly there always and their setup for sports is probably the best in town
This is my 4th Castle John's I have visited and this one did not disappoint, I ordered one of my favourite dishes Sheppard's Pie and it was good. Great vibe here and what made the day was the fantastic, professional and friendly service from my server Julie, I hope she sees this.
Late lunch, service was excellent. Just had a club sandwich with fries, but it was very tasty. Parking: Lots of parking
My husband daughter and myself stopped by for a nice Friday dinner. Server was inattentive. Ordered apps that came after our main meals were served. Food was half cold on one plate, fully cold on another. $120 for a cold experience by both server and kitchen. The server came by once to see if we needed anything. This is the second time I’ve come to this restaurant and had the same experience. We won’t be giving it a third try.
Recently had our staff Christmas Party here and the food and service was excellent! The wait staff were very attentive and speedy when it came to delivering food and drinks. Thank you again and Merry Christmas to your team!
Wings were dry and average. Don’t ever order the steak and lobster from this location. Tasted like it was defrosted under water, horrible. Fajitas are great! Bathrooms were filthy. Great prices on drinks and the staff are excellent.
This place is great! Wings are the best in town! All the server’s are nice. Erin and Jaclyn are great on Thursday nights! I come with my buddy’s to play pool as it’s the only pool table in Cobourg. Crowd is so friendly and welcoming as I’m new in town. I will be back most definitely!
