Castle Inn Of Dowagiac

Rented a room for one night using a debit card but ended up not staying there. The room was small and dirty. I went back 15 mins after and ask for my refund and the guy said if i paid with cash he would refund me the money but since i use the debit card he can not refund the money. I thought when using the debit card is the same as cash. But he still won't refund my money. BAD SERVICES don't go there, looks good at night but in the day time it looks like the place where some one bring a hooker to sleep for the night.

I recently visited my mother here and the place was nice enough. The rooms are quite small, but it's cheap so what do you expect? However on my way in I did have a guy ask me if I wanted to 'toke up' on my way into the room so that was nice. At least he was willing to share. That being said I respectfully declined and went on my merry way.

It's decent & affordable. Nothing amazing. Just regular. The air was nice. & they have good channels. A lil outdated style. Sink outside of bathroom.

The bed was the only clean thing in the room. No hot water. The light fixtures had no covers and the ones that did were filled with dead bugs, yuck. The chair was so dirty it was unusable. Let us not forget the crack pipe and torch lighter found in the desk drawer.

Nice comfortable rooms, with a desk for work. Caring staff. Great rates on top of everything. Lounge in front and porch for each room.
