Returning from visiting a house nearby, we stopped here, and were pleasantly surprised at both the quality of the lunch special, fillet of chicken, pepper steak and 2 others. Included was a great home made chicken noodle soup, with roll and crackers, real mashed potatoes and tossed crispy lettuce salad, with thinly grated carrot + vinaigrette. The fries were nicely browned, not too crispy and fresh. The pepper sauce? v. good with a reasonable portion of steak done my way- medium-rare, all accompanied by a carafe of fresh tea, with one of six choices for dessert, all for $15.95. The cake was moist. My companion had the lemon pie, also good. A friendly group of snowmobilers were next table, and the place was 2/3 full at lunchtime Monday. We'll definitely be going again when visiting the area. PS. I even visited the local machine shop advertised on the menu, and may make a $20,000 sale, as a result. Now THAT is a good 'meal deal'
Excellent burgers, speedy service.
Bruv all the negative reviews r false. The food is absolutely delicious and if you speak fluently in French the customer service will be impeccable. The lady is a very nice person. I strongly recommend this place
All the items you should expect from a casse-croute, plus beer! Very fair price about 80$ for 4 adults 4 kids including 15% tip. They accomodated our party of 8 very quickly a few mitutes before closing, thanks! Very cute exterior seating area, next to water. Cons: rusty buckets filled with cigarette butts next to picnic tables. I know they are there to prevent people throwing them on the ground, but they could be emptied and a bit less trashy looking.

Great prices and amazing service. This place is like going back to 1992, prices are affordable, service was so friendly and I felt like a local.
Food good but nothing special. They are kind but the service is not the very good
