Went for the butter chicken for my first time. I did eat the whole meal but thought it could be better. I was also sad to see he cooks with chef mike microwave. Only saw him use it for rice and some sauce in plastic containers. The butter chicken is just grilled chicken with some sauce thrown on it. Was good but definitely could be better. Overall this place could be better but as a fast food Indian it was good.
I don't understand why people complain about this place - but from my experience, it's spotless clean, friendly staff. Amazing food. We tried the Veal Sandwich today not on menu yet but can be ordered and it was phenomenal. Sorry I don't have pics, by the time I got it home I just wanted to eat it cause I could smell it from their location to my home. What I can say is I could smell their place from the Candy shop nearby and it instantly gets to your gut. When I went inside the atmosphere somewhat modern but not tacky I knew whomever ran this place has passion; watching them cook and prep, they care. I can't wait to go back, thank you again for your hospitality; I hope others in the area and tourists see what a hidden gem this is. PS. Will update review with pics next time I eat there, promise. Worst experience ever, actually had nausea right after eating their shawarma. One of my friends bought this food from this restaurant and made us sick, we already raised a complaint about their low quality food to Canadian food inspection agency. reply for the response: let the responsible food agency decide whether your food is low quality or good quality, it's good that you stopped buy one get one promotion, so less people will get sick out of your food, thank you for the response
The food was excellent, we had the chicken shawarma pita with everything on it, and I enjoyed pink middle eastern pickled turnips for the first time ever, at the urging of the owner, and after I sampled a piece. Excellent! Parking: Lots of available parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed to be wheelchair accessible
Tried the chicken tikka masala for lunch. Came with fluffy side of rice and tossed salad. It was by far the best I’ve ever eaten. Customer service is excellent too. Comfy dine in area. I’m going back many times to try other menu items. I’ve had Imperial Tandoor. They are overpriced. Casper is so tasty and reasonably priced.
Called for a take out order of pork schnitzel and the chicken shawarma box. Order was right on time when we got there and both staff were very friendly. Both dishes were amazing and we will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
I have gone to Casper over 5 times over the past few months and have never been left unsatisfied. Once there was a miscommunication about what I wanted but it was quickly rectified without a hassle, handled professionally by the Casper staff. I highly highly recommend going to Casper at least once, I believe you will enjoy a well above average experience both from a customer service and food point of view! Parking: Ample parking out front at all times of day.
I just tried their chicken shawarma for the first time, I called the store before showing up since I have been to every shawarma place and already had a favourite but wanted to give this place a try and the owner is extremely friendly. Their sign does not lie, they really do have the best shawarma in town. 11/10 service and food. They’ve bumped my old favourite down to 2nd place. Try this restaurant and you won’t regret!
Stopped in after seeing a sign by the road claiming it had the best shawarma in town. I got the chicken shawarma box and it was excellent. The picklesthey were so garlicky and good mmmmmmmm and sauces were delicious and the portions were very generous and had a nice salad as well. I'm glad I stopped in. Will be coming back for sure. It's nice that I can get a shawarma without going downtown. Give it a try! Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair
