During a hockey tournament in the area we decided to go for lunch and Cask and Kettle which was recommended by a local. We were a little hesitant as we were also told by a local of a restaurant close by the day earlierand it wasn't the greatest experience.nBut to our surprise Cast and Kettle was a gold mine. It started as soon as we walked in we were greeted very pleasantly and promptly taken to a table. My daughter was hesitant to have the chicken caesar salad This is her fave. She had it the day before and could not eat it. She asked for a sample of the Caesar dressing, tried it then ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and was very happy with it. I ordered the CK burger with mashed potatoes and my wife ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich with fries.nI have to tell you how our taste buds were very happy, the food did not disappoint. I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the neighborhood.
Stopped in for bunch on a not so busy Sunday. Food was good, service was okay, and overall cleanliness was subpar which is very off putting in a restaurant environment. Went as a party of two with my girlfriend, her coffee cup was unwashed and sticky, as well as there being quite a few easily visible food scraps around the table. Glad I tried it but will be hesitant about coming back
Flavor town! Amazing staff! So positive and motivated and friendly. Waitress who served our table was fabulousnnOnly negative is it is hard to talk because the music and voices bounce off the walls too well, making it very loud
The food is good! Decently priced. Spin dip is always popular. Had the Cob and fries. Wasn't a huge fan of the fries but lots of people like them. Too much parm on them for me.nIt's really busy, especially on the weekends and we had to sit outside, which was nice but it is getting cool out quicker lately, and the mosquitoes and I think fruit flies were coming out after us lolnDidn't see our waitress much but she was nice. Had she offered me more beer, I'd have probably said yes, but she didn't. I was happy with one though : good beer nRecommend the place though. The atmosphere is nice, and the food options are diverse!
While out in KV we stopped by the Cask and Kettle for a late lunch. We have enjoyed the uptown restaurant but this was our first time at this location and we were not disappointed. We had the Cod & Chips Rosemary Parmesan Fries and the Old School Breakfast. The food was delicious and our server Alison was lovely.
