Amazing lunch stop on our way to Fogo. Highly recommend, everything is hand made and fresh. As you can see dish sizes are pretty filling and the prices are excellent. Cozy vibe inside and seating available outdoors.
Awesome homemade food, generous portions, quaint little cafe on Station St. Off the beaten path. Don't miss it.
Always a pleasure eating at this cozy place. Excellent service great atmosphere really good food. Billy the owner and his staff make you feel like your home.
Really cute little spot. The menu was fairly diverse and the food was well prepared. Has a nice homey feel to it.Food: 4/5
Literally everything is nuked in the microwave. From starter to dessert. May be the owner should change the name of his cafe to "Your health is in my microwave" instead of "My health is in my food". We were really expecting healthy food but was pretty much disappointed. Would not recommend!
We were really disappointed. We suspect that the usual cook was away as most reviews are really good. In our group of 4, we ordered cabbage rolls, Chili and a soup and sandwich. The soup and sandwich were good. The Chili came covered in a few strips of yellow cheddar and a bunch of ketchup. Even when stirring the ketchup in, that’s all the dish tastes of. I couldn’t finish it. Two of my co-travellers had the cabbage rolls. They also came with cheddar and ketchup all over them. When they cut into them, they were still frozen in the middle. They went back to the kitchen and were microwaved and came back with a new layer of ketchup added to the top. One friend scraped the ketchup off and it looked like about 4 tablespoons of ketchup. The taste was only so-so. The pickles were also quite soft and slimy. We think the staff must have been off season replacements or something. Maybe only try to hit this place during high season. Also, the staff kept pulling their masks down both to speak to us at our table and while they were at the stove. Not very reassuring.
The best breakfast you can possibly get at a restaurant highly highly recommend
The Pancakes I had them they were awesome. And the atmosphere was amazing too.
Summer 2017..Nice place and people but.. We asked if fish cakes were homemade.. told yes but they were factory made... good but not homemade. Mac n cheese wasn't very cheesy.. pasta was cooked proper but garlic toast was "terrible".. powdery and fried.. tasted burnt. Portions were average. Quaint place for tourists..
Got a date square, which came with vanilla yogurt and fruit. Very close to the town square so you can also take your food to go to eat there!
