I have patronized this establishment since the late 90s. This is when they were exclusively on Brady Street in Milwaukee. NEVER had on issue. Times have changed and at times the crowd at this location can be a bit ghetto fabulous. But service, food and entertainment is still great . THE REASON FOR REVIEW:BROOKFIELD location RUDE UNORGANIZED and very UNPROFESSIONAL. My son turned 24 on October 21st 2022. He called me on around the 10th of October and asked me to find a great spot for a bday dinner and to be sure they have LAMB lol I knew the perfect spot Casablanca Brookfield this would be my 2nd time at this location. I made reservations around the 14th for a group of 15. Brookfield NEVER answers their phone and online reservation can’t be made with a party this size. So, each time I called, I had to go through BRADY location just to get an answer. 1 day Prior to dinner I had to add 8 more people. Again BRADY street had to handle it over phone. The day before I received a text confirming, as well as day of, a call confirming we would still be in attendance . The manager had a worker call back stating with parties of this size they serve family style dinner. After explaining to me what this was, I told them it would have been best to tell me this at time of booking so I could have added a menu to my sons invite. That way, our guest would have known in advance, having an option to join us. The manager understood sayings “it’s not a busy night” and AGREED to allow us to order separate entrees. Once we arrived, Service was HORRIBLE from start. They had so many tall glasses of water on the table The kids did not need TALL glasses. After 2 spillslol I asked them to change the 4 kids out for smaller cups with lids. Which they did. Here we are a table of 25 ONE inexperienced waitress bless her heart she tried to accommodate such a large group!! We had 5 orders of lamb chops. 4 orders went back literally 3 times!! Undercooked or overcooked The manager seemed very Agitated, stating the cook was new and not use to such a large party, is why they usually do family style….are we bringing this up again ? Here are our pictures from what was supposed to be a beautiful night. My son had a horrible first experience. I don’t think he will ever return. We spent 750 that night. SMH no tip and I ALWAYS tip even when gratuity is added. Y’all have to do better!! The picture below was supposed to be Medium well no blood. I ended up taking it home and Simmering to perfection! I didn’t get pictures of the other 3 plates. We did get credit for two and my son received a bday Dessert…thanks for that The SECOND picture was my first experience there! Beautiful food .. Get that chef back ASAP.. lol and a better phone system.
We visited on a Thursday evening and it was low key, not very busy which made me feel a lot more comfortable Covid gave me some health issues, and I'm conscious to avoid crowds. The ambience was very cozy, and inviting. It was my birthday, and the restaurant treated me with a baklava and a shot which was nice. Our server, black haired guy, was also very attentive and friendly. I also like that they have a few vegetarian/vegan options. Vegetarian options: They have a few items that accommodate a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle such as grape leaves, hummus, and falafel. Parking: Big lot with a lot of spots, shared with other businesses.
We stopped at Casablanca in the early evening on Friday, September 18th for our anniversary dinner.  Being fans of Mediterranean food, I'm not sure why we had waited so long to try it - we've driven by Casablanca on Bluemound in Brookfield literally thousands of times.  We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. It wasn't busy but it was very early in the evening.  Casablanca has kind of a 90's night club vibe.  While there's always a lot of traffic on Bluemound, the open air seating area where we found our table was really nice.  The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.  Our server asked if we wanted a hookah with our drinks before dinner.  Apparently, we were sitting in the hookah section - we declined but a table of three near us were enjoying their hookah with drinks.  Perhaps we'll try it next time...  We had House Salads to start - fresh greens, tomatoes and cucumbers with an interesting vinaigrette - we thought it could have used some kalamatas and / or feta - but it was tasty nonetheless.  For entrees, we had the Grilled Salmon - it was well seasoned lemon and garlic and grilled to perfection with appetizing grill marks served with steamed vegetables and basmati rice & the Moroccan Shrimp Kabob - nice size grilled shrimp with a zesty North African spice blend and grilled vegetables with basmati rice.  We thought our entrees were very good and we both commented that we really liked the basmati rice served with our dishes.  It was a nice time at a nice place on a nice early evening - we're planning to go back to explore more of the menu - this is a good venue for Mediterranean food - check it out if you haven't yet.
It's a decent tasting Mediterranean restaurant. It's a bit expensive for the experience. I thought their combo with choice of two is the most cost effective entree. We ordered combination of lamb kifta, chicken kabob and beef shawarma. All of them tasted above average. Only lamb and chicken can be found halal here. I read a lot about their basmati rice. But I found it very dry and undercooked. Their lentil soup is okay. As a South Asian its daal for me which I ended up eating with the rice and then it tasted good! I'm happy with the portion size. Our waiter was nice and the wait time wasn't too bad.
Came here on a Monday night. The food was good, which is why I gave it 2 stars. The service sucked though. First off, there were 2 of us and the hostess put us at this huge booth. It was so awkward, there were high top tables that would've been perfect for 2 people. Secondly, our server was either new or didn't care. They forgot to get pita bread for our appetizer, then they blamed the food runner. They forgot our bottle of wine, then wasn't anywhere to be seen for about 20 minutes I had to get the hostess to find them. They finally gave us our bottle of wine, then blamed the bartender for why we didn't have it sooner, however they didn't open it, or give us a bottle opener to open the bottle so I had to find them again to have them open it. They had no clue on how to open it. So the bartender had to open it. Then they disappeared again for another 15-20 minutes. What were they doing!? It wasn't busy. They seemed very disinterested in being there. Then the check came they didn't give us the 50% off the wine that was advertised so once again I had to find them to correct it and then of all things they had the stones to add 18 % gratuity to the bill, for just 2 of us. Once again our waitstaff said "oh sorry I normally don't work Mondays" like that was okay!? I would've tipped but not 18%. Excuses excuses excuses, no thanks. I won't be back, I really wanted to like this place.
Stopped here on a Wednesday evening for my first time. It wasn’t crowded, good atmosphere, and the waiter Josh was excellent at his Job. Josh took the time to explain the dishes, answer questions about the restaurant and remained attentive to our table the entire stay. The music was a nice light guitar music, lights dimmed at 6 pm to enhance the dining experience. We ordered beef Shish kabob and beef shawarma. Beef was cooked exactly as ordered. The food had a light Middle Eastern Mediterranean flavor. Also, had spinach artichoke dip as appetizer. It was excellent! Bread was hot and plenty of spinach artichoke dip until the end. Oh, a cup of soup comes with the meal, don’t pass up the tomato basil. It may be the best tomato basil soup I ever had. There is a full bar that I didn’t have time to go to, and I am told the buffet is open 11am to 3. The next chance I am around for lunch I will give it a try
Food was very tasty. Ordered lamb kofta. Was a bit under cooked. I took it home and cooked it to my liking. Was delicious. Staff was friendly, not very attentive though. They add tip to your bill, so be aware so you don't double tip.Food: 4/5
Ordered online for pickup but platform screwed up. Owner went out of his way to make up for the platform. Made the order quickly and comped me a beer while waiting. The baked lamb dish was mouth watering , soft and tender with outstanding flavor and a few crisp ends. Very attractive restaurantFood: 5/5
Came in around 8:00pm on a Saturday for some drinks and hooka. The place is huge and they let you sit wherever. We choose a table off to the side in a quieter area instead of the bar. Hookah, drinks and appetizers were all great! A dj was setting up, but we left before he started. My wife and I enjoyed our stop here and will probably come back. Lots of food options, looked kind of expensive$20-30, but quality food.
We visited this restaurant shortly after it opened - so happy to have a Casablanca in Brookfield instead of driving to the east side. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace to dine on and we had a perfect summer day to do that. The food was great. As an appetizer we ordered the Combination which gives you lots of variety and a chance to try foods you have never tried before. For dinner we had a plate of Beef Shish Kabobs that came with seasoned rice. The portions were more than sufficient. On our second visit we sat inside and there were 2 girls that were Belly Dancing, very discrete, never bothered any one but a nice way to experience another culture. This is a great restaurant.
