It was good Mexican food. We went there Sunday afternoon. The decor of the place is good. There were plenty of open tables. I ordered the fish tacos. The tacos themselves were okay but didnt have any flavor. The salsa also felt store bought. Rice and beans that came on the side was good. Overall not impressed at all. The service was quick but our server was in a hurry.
Absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and it was ready in no time at all, despite it being a pretty busy night. If you're looking for some delicious Mexican food and great service, look no further than Casa Real. Parking: Parking is in the parking lot directly in front of the restaurant.
It was a very pretty atmosphere and the food was super yummy. The waitress was nice as well.

Service by our waitress? Amazing. But at the end of the night after we spent over $400, another woman staff came in the back room where we had our party & said “Um we are CLOSED,” as we were helping her waitress clean up our tables. They close at 9pm & this woman came in at 9:10pm. They lost loyal customers today.
Hands down the best place for Mexican cuisine in the capital district!!! The tacos remind me of my childhood and the chimichangas and margaritas are delicious. Try the burrito loco, it’s wicked good. 9/2021 the restaurant was recently renovated and it looks amazing. All of the booths, tables and chairs were handcrafted for the restaurant in Mexico
This place was horrible! The atmosphere was ok but the food was disgusting! I ordered the shrimp tacos and there was no description so I figured it was your average shrimp taco, no it wasn't. It came on a gross soggy, chalky tasting tortilla and it had mayo on it which I mistook for sour cream and when I took a bit I almost vomited. The waitress comes over and says you don't like mayo and I was like I do but not on shrimp so I had her take it away. I thought that they would comp my meal since I didn't even eat it and they totally didn't. I still paid full price! So don't waste your time or money like I did!!!!!!
Nothing about this place was authentic Mexican. We ordered a chimichanga, tacos, enchiladas, and tamales. All were flavorless with dry meat. We had beef, chicken, and pork and all were unseasoned and dry. The beans were watery. We didn't see our waitress to ask for condiments, and none were on the table. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, this isn't the place.
I gave it 4 stars only because the ground beef is plain tasting with a gray color instead of brown. Every other meal has been very good. Get steak instead of beef in your tacos.Food: 4/5
