Casa Pizza was pretty good, no complaints. Friendly staff and they have a variety of Pizza Styles. I had the NY Style Pepperoni. The dough was really good, I devoured the crust and savoured every bite! The sauce was ok, the Cupped Pepperoni was good and so was the cheese. I give it a 7.8 out of 10. I Definitely recommend them!! For my next Pie I'll be giving the Margarita or the Detroit Style a try. Highly recommended!! Bon appetit!
I ordered a margarita pizza and I think it was truly the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m Italian and I’ve have many pizzas but this I have to say is the best pie. Not only was the flavor of the sauce was amazing but the cheese and was full of flavor and the dough was airy and had that hint of charcoal flavor. The service was amazing as well. Me and my sister were waiting outside for our pizzawhich only took 10 mins and the cook came out to us and personally gave us the pizza.
We heard a lot about Casa Pizzeria being the Top Pizzeria in Massachusetts. We even heard about them winning First Place in a National Pizza Competition and even watched Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy’s great review on YouTube. So, Sunday afternoon we drove the 2 hours from Cape Cod to check it out. Well, they did not disappoint… We tried the Grandma, Detroit and Sicilian style pizzas. The Pizza was awesome! Everything about it was perfect from the crust to the sauce, to the cheese and seasonings! It was well worth the trip. Jimmy and his son were great, and it was a pleasure meeting them.
Worth a trip across counties. On my first visit I tried the New Haven style with pepperoni, hamburg, olives, and sausage and onions. The pepperoni was amazing and the complimentary basil and spices added lots of flavor. The crust was thin and crunchy the way pizza is supposed to be. I've also ordered the New York, Grandma, Detroit, and Bostonian styles, plus The Old Fashion New Haven. The New York was floppier and more doughy but still delicious. Grandma style is a pan cooked pie with a rich, crispy, and flavorful crust. It's very filling. The Bostonian is like a New York pizza but tastier and more cohesive. Having the cheese under the sauce brings out the oil and taste as it cooks, and having the toppings under the cheese gives it a unique texture. It's like a white pie with sauce drizzled on top. Similar to the Bostonian is The Old Fashion, which has the cheese on the bottom and the sauce on top. When it cooks the oils are absorbed into the crust and they mix with the complimentary spices, creating a tasty glaze. The Old Fashion New Haven is amazing. The Detroit deep dish can be likened to a thick slice of hearty Italian bread baked with cheese, sauce, and spices. The edge of the crust is crunchy while the inside is fresh and chewy. Pan-cooked with cheese in the crust, it's very satisfying.
In town for a campus visit from MI. Ordered the Detroit and NY style pizza. Just as good maybe even better! than the Detroit style from pizzeria in Michigan that founded this style. NY style pizza was crazy amazing too!
Casa Pizza is absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend them. My boyfriend and I tried the Chicago "Deep Dish" with pepperoni. The pepperoni is stated to be a special pepperoni in their topping list, which I can attest was the best pepperoni I've tasted. The pizza had the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce, the sprinkle of what I believe was parmesan cheese was a nice touch in addition to the basil leaves. The pizza dough was soft and pillowy with a touch of crunch, the crust itself edge of the pizza has more of a crunch with the perfect amount of softness inside. The Chicago Pizza from Casa is perfectly balanced, flavor-packed pizza. Each bite was as enjoyable as the last and I can't say I've ever had pizza I've enjoyed to this degree. It's abundantly clear on the first bite that Casa is careful in selecting the ingredients they use, I have no doubts their pizzas are made with the utmost love and care. In addition to their amazing pizza Casa has a quaint, friendly atmosphere that feels like a small, family Italian pizza place. I loved their checkered red and white table cloths, the family photos were heartwarming, and they even had a little sign that said "Family is Everything". While we waited for our pizzas we could see the owner and his son making pizzas in the kitchen. This was our first time visiting, I can't wait to come back to try their other pizzas. PS thank you to the front staff for their patience, even with my website research before visiting I still managed to be confused when we ordered not Casa's fault, I'm just an airhead!
We loved it! So many different styles of pizza to choose from ... Each we tried was delicious! Very unique experience and the owner was very nice and helpful explaining the different style pizzas. Def want to try them all now!
Ok. It is the best pizza and has the friendliest most welcoming staff. True what you say... pricey but worth it. For that reason I think they should not serve on paper plates with plastic utensils that wouldn't cut through their New Haven pizza. They have a bar and thus think they should offer filtered tap water. Had to pay for a plastic bottle that will end up in the ocean. But I will be back! Parking: On the street.
The ny style was great. The Sicilian was not a hit for us. It was more bread than pizza, very dry. We were feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new, not for us. We will try again though, maybe just stick to the regular pizzas this time.
These guys make several different style pizzas. The Boston style pizza is one of the best pizzas I have had. I wish Dave tried the Boston style pizza so this place could have got a proper score in the 8s. The New Haven style he makes is good but the Boston style he makes is amazing. It's fresh mozzarella, sauce on top, the basil hits just right. My second favorite from Casa pizza is the grandma stye pizza. It's similar to the Boston but a little thicker and has garlic on it. My only wish is less oregano but the pizzas are so good that I don't really mind.
