Definitely recommend for a dinner out with family, friends or a date. The chicken parmesan was so delicious and what pleased me was the pasta stayed warm on the hot plate. So satisfying not to have cold pasta. Everyone in our group enjoyed their menu choices. Prime Rib, Bruschetta baked Salmon, and Casi Mia Spaghetti was some of the selections our table had. Our service was great. I feel the prices match the quality of the meal. Good wine selection. This is a restaurant worthy to keep open, glad it survived the pandemic. If you haven't been - go and enjoy!
Delicious and fresh Greek and Italian food... came here for the first time after skiing and enjoyed warm friendly service and great food - garlic shrimps, garlic bread, souvlaki dinner and Halibut dinner with extra veggies on the side for 2 adults and a 4 yr old! Had the house italian soda and 2 lattes - very satisfied and food was nicely cooked with natural flavors not overly salty. Hit the spot and will be back again next time we are in the Barrie area, when indoor dining is back. Also love the traditional and homey feel of the decor!
Food was decent. I really enjoyed my rack of lamb. No real mint sauce, just the jelly type which was slightly disappointing but not a deal breaker. Overall the food was a solid 3.5 stars. The service was less desirable. Not very friendly and quite dismissive. We came to celebrate a family members 72nd birthday with the family. We told the waitress that it was a birthday while the birthday boy was in the washroom to see if they could do something small like most restaurants do and were told that sure you can order something from the dessert menu. This was very surprising and a first for me. Service a solid 2 stars mainly for that reason but also just meh in general. Had the service matched the food then maybe it would warrant a 4 star review. Just a shame as the waitress was not very pleasant at all. She didn't even wish him a happy birthday.
So glad we decided to try Casa Mia! Walked in, the decor and dimly lit restaurant felt like a date night with my partner. Each dish tasted amazing, well balanced sauces, quality food with fair portions for the price. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend!
Not quite a pleasant experience. If you are an Italian or a true "intenditore" of real Italian traditional recipes this might not be the place you want to try. A vongole...it's not a vongole, cut-out long pasta, questionably fresh seafood, misspellings in the menu, and a chaotic, mixed list of offerings that amalgamated Italian and Greek dishes leading up to confused delivery and lack of actual authenticity. "Well, the cook is Greek" replied our waitress as we unraveled our frustrations and disappointment. They decided to offer us "a free dessert for our troubles" which we elegantly refused. In the end, two glasses of pinot grigio were waived in a way to ease and fix our disenchantment. Not recommended. Not coming back.
The meal was absolutely fantastic, Lots of food. We also ordered one of favourite wines that we order when we go there. We picked our order up and the two ladies were very nice. The only thing I would do is check your order before you leave as we didn’t get the strawberry cheesecake. Otherwise no complaints.
So delicious! Linguine primavera was so yummy with crunchy veggies and rose sauce. The Greek salad was so fresh as always
We enjoy this restaurant for the pasta but were surprised to see they had fish and chips. The fish and chips are actually listed with the kids' menu as adult portion. The fish is a good sized filet with a thin crispy batter and was hot and tasty. The tartar sauce was good and the fries were OK. My spouse had their excellent baked pasta. They do not have Greek or Italian beer but have Stella that is a good substitute for that European taste.
This was an anniversary dinner and important to us. Our service was excellent and very appreciated. Our compliments must go out to your kitchen staff. Our meal was perfect and we so enjoyed dining there. Thank you so very much for making a our special evening just that. Thank you again, Ute and Wayne Gordon
First time eating here for dinner. Amazing service by Robbie! Food was sensational from the appetizers straight through to the main course. Definitely make a point of stopping in to enjoy delicious food and a great atmosphere. Portions reflect the price, you will not regret eating here! Kid-friendliness: Great kid friendly menu options for a fantastic price Parking: Plenty of parking Dietary restrictions: Plate is properly divided between protein, vegetables and carbs.
