Slow service. Brought bread to the table, saw we were three and for some reason, did not leave the bread. Odd. There is no Greek salad on the lunch menu at all, only house salad. When I asked our server, I was told that they were only a waitress and did not know. Ok, the bread arrived. I suppose we will share. Steak haché - the gravy sauce was insanely salty. Had to return it. The grilled chicken brochette was tasty. Baked spaghetti was also ok. The salad was good, shame that a Greek salad is not on the menu at all with any meal. You can order a Greek salad separately for $13. The chocolate cake that came with lunch was inedible. Plain and simple. Coffee was good and fresh. Server was wearing flip flops it is safe to say that I will not be visiting this Casa again!! #localguide
The food is not great. The shrimp was not good. The filet mignon was tasteless. But my pork wrapped in bacon was very good! The staff is very friendly. It took forever to get bread and our food. I won't be going back.
Food was great & reasonable price.
The service was ok. Maybe the waitress was new, she forgot what we ordered as entrees and forgot to ask what salad was preferred. Not to mention that we had to ask for a refill for coffee. The pastry on the spanakopita was a bit burned but edible however the rest the chicken and shrimps combo was good. I don't think I'll be going back to this Casa Grecque Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Not impressed.
The portions are enormous, the bucket of pop I was given was flat and warm, and the kids meal was the same size as an adult's meal. There wasn't even room for all the plates on the table. The baklava I had for dessert was mammoth-sized and horrible. The server was really great, but I won't be going back.
This 4 stars is during/post Covid. 5+stars before Covid. So with the understanding and limitations we all are challenged by, the restaurant had to stop the "Salad and Souo open buffet" that was the trademark of this restaurant. However, the quantities are still good and the meals are well prepared and tasty.
Ordered the pita for takeout and it was pretty delicious, potato’s were pretty good too
I love it there! The ambiance is great - Nice upper middle class place. Food is great - just don't forget to bring your wine if you want some! :
Dont know if ill give em a visit for dinner menus- as they seemed a little over priced for what they are- But I did love their lunch menus. Pretty affordable, lots of food, including a desert and a drink of your choice.
The food was ok a little too salty for my liking. The service was good though
