The moon roof on my Santa Fe smashed on a Saturday over a long weekend. I called CARSTAR the following Tuesday and they told me to come in that same day for a quote. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a friendly face. The receptionist Mariesa had Brian come out and look at it right away. After looking it over, he was super kind and took my vehicle into the shop to tape it up so it was secure and safe until the glass was replaced. I did not ask him to do that, so that was a huge green flag right away that I wanted to go with these guys for my repair. Mariesa broke everything down for me and was honest and transparent in terms of the process and the cost associated with the repair. The turnaround time was super quick and by Friday afternoon, I received a call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. The entire experience with CARSTAR right from the get go to the very end was seamless and the customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend CARSTAR Okotoks for your collision and glass repair needs.
My vehicle went in for hail damage repair including a smashed windshield. The initial contact with Carstar, for the claim, was very easy and fast. Upon taking the vehicle in for repair, check-in was easy and they had my rental all arranged. The actual repair is excellent and was completed ahead of schedule. I've used Carstar several times and the results always surpass expectation. Highly recommended!
The most amazing service ever!! They really were great at communicating through the process! My vehicle looked brand new inside and out!! Highly recommend !!
Had a very small spider crack. I have insurance. $25.00 deductible for a repair and $50.00 for replacement. They suggested a repair. When I picked my car up I said, “ that doesn’t look much different!?” The girl at the front said, in her know it all attitude, “it’ll be fine” and totally brushed it off. I let it go and assumed that they just sealed it and that’s the way it looks. Tho it was a little distracting.n6-7 weeks later the crack is across my window. I called them and explained the above. The receptionist, in her, matter of fact attitude, continuously interrupted me saying, “there’s no guarantee when you do a repair, we tell all of our customers that!” Well no one told me!! If they had, I would of paid another $25.00 and had it replaced. $25.00 is pocket change compared to all the hassle and time to risk it spreading. I’m conservative tho regardless of who’s money I’m spending. If a repair works, why replace a whole windshield, with built in cameras!nI finally had to speak up and say, “you’re not letting me talk so I’m going to hang up.”nThe front desk people need training in customer service. Even my grandchildren know to not interrupt when someone is talking. Most of the time I don’t trust my car to be fixed properly by them and there is no communication. I’ll go elsewhere and pay the deductible, again.
They say they guarantee their work, that's not true. We brought our truck in to get hail damage repaired. They replaced the skins on the doors. A short time later the doors were getting rust spots at the seams. We brought it in and they said not our fault. Must gave been a rock chip. We brought the truck to 3 other body shops and before we could say a word, they all responded with who the hell fixed your doors? They did it wrong. Will never be back and will warn everyone we know unless something is made right.
